Next is cleaning up the furnace texture a little, then onto redstone dust and the redstone block (I'm going to get rid of the shine/sparkle on the redstone block and make something more matte coloured but also more decorative)
Couple of tweaks to things: New birch colour for those using mcpatcher and new carved stonebrick. Still trying to make a nice furnace design but I'm getting there!
Thanks feathers! I checked it out in a birch forest biome too and it looks pretty neat. I feel red birch trees are a little overdone now so it's time to move on.
Still waiting for somebody to make blue or teal coloured birch trees though, that would be awesome!

I think smaller leaves would be much more realistic and good for a change.

Don't think I'll be changing them anytime soon, sorry. Plus they're kind of as small as I can make them while still allowing enough detail so I don't think I'll be making them smaller either.
I like how quartz blocks look in this resource pack. They look like normal building materials, not some shiny blocks.
Anyway, good job with the birch! It fits well. Just a question, are you planning to make CTM for dyed glass?

Kekay, yes, I will be doing some ctm for stained glass, I'm actually just doing some tweaking to the stained glass as some of the colours seem a little more transparent than others (even though they aren't) so I'm going to be tweaking that and adding a framework for some ctm once I've finished exams. Ctm for this will be pretty easy though, just going to take a LOT of copying and pasting for each colour.
Nightmare, it's nice enough that you still pop in to see how I'm going, even if you aren't using the pack anymore.

IMO still suits minecraft better than any other resolution. One of the reasons why I haven't done a full higher resolution pack like 64x or 32x...

Anyway, there's possibly going to be a week and a half break before you see any new textures from me as that's when all my exams will be finished and I'm unlikely to be texturing much during exams although I only need to do coal block and packed ice. Might do them this weekend as they'll only take a couple of hours hopefully. I'll still post some pics of redstone and furnace when I get time though, can't leave you guys without some sort of teaser!
