Thanks for the comments everyone! To be honest I HAVE to take my time due to all the uni work I have at the same time. Hell, I stayed up till 2am writing up 5000 words for uni yesterday... Approaching exams now so it's getting very busy.
Anyway, I'm taking a bit of a break from uni work right now so I'll get to work on the villagers again. Only shading left for most of them now, still deciding on the clothes for one of them though. (I think it's the.... butcher? It has a white apron in vanilla anyway)
EDIT: Forgot to mention, I've decided I will be doing smaller, but more constant updates as well. This means I will be updating every one or two weeks so I can get feedback from first hand experience faster and it means I don't need to keep posting pictures of stuff I'm working on all the time too so it's a little easier for me as well on a daily basis.
Ok, just a question, does anybody know if the villager with the green hood actually spawns in? I haven't seen one when using the spawn gems (eggs) so it's a little hard to texture. Not sure if I even need to texture it... :/
According to the wiki: "*Note: Generic villagers do not spawn naturally, nor with a Spawn Egg. Zombie Villagers have a 1 in 20 chance of spawning instead of a normal Zombie."

Ok, thanks for that! Looks like that will save me a bit of time at least. I will still texture it incase it is used in custom maps somehow, but I'll wait until I've finished all the other villagers and released the update first.
Also, progress - I've done the shading on each of the villagers heads and on the coat of two of them. Now that I have a general idea of how I'm doing the shading, it shouldn't take me long to finish. Thanks again for your patience everyone!
Oh, I've also started a little list of things I'm going to be doing for next update. At the moment it includes revamping grass, dirt, cauldron, sandstone, beacon and carved stonebrick while also including the half finished ghast, the blaze and wither skellies. Oh, I'll also be looking into the font again!
So yea, once the update drops, let me know if there are any textures you want revamped and I'll consider adding them to the list for the next update.
Come on MAN hurry up!....................... we is racing aren't we Sheepy!??>
Red car and the blue car had a race!..............
Lol! Love it!
I'm definitely the blue car here, right syc?
Only the villager shading left to go for me now so you're gonna have to work fast to beat me! Although that said, I might have to make my stained glass more interesting next update, yours is looking reeeeaaaally good...
Man, can't wait until this texture pack is up to 1.7, and the updated 1.5 is out so that I can use it with FTB. This is my new favorite pack.
Thanks for the comment and also thanks for reminding me about the 1.5 pack too! I'll quickly fix up an updated 1.5 pack as soon as I've released the 1.7 update.
Also, in concerns to the 1.7 update, only a couple of villagers to go now and I have tonight free so I'm looking to get the update done tonight.
It's 2.30am here so I'll take some pics and upload when I get up. Here's some pics of villagers and zombie villager:
Zombeh villager!
EDIT: Forgot to mention, there will be a few alts of the zombie villager with some damage to his chest, stone arms, stone legs and stone head.
Also, I will be replacing villager sounds to something that fits their rock/iron body forms a bit better but that won't be in this update. Also, yes, the black on them is iron replacement parts for the limbs that have worn away from age/use. Butcher has iron arms and white waistcoat, smith has iron head, legs and arms and a reddish waistcoat, librarian has a little goggle type thing plus a blue coat, farmer has the brown overcoat, priest has the purple hat and purple robe with gold trim.
Lovin' the new stuff! The acacia tree textures look pretty awesome. One thing I found myself disliking though (and it may be just me) but I find your new tall grass to be lacking -- I think it looks too flat; compared to all your other textures it seems so plain. I really, really liked the old version that you had before you changed how the tall grass looked and I had hoped that the new double grass would be in the old style too.

Curse PremiumAlready done, it's much more... Savannah coloured now.
I will tweak the biome colours more in the future to make the biomes blend together better, but at the moment they're okay.
