Ok, figured I might as well show a little preview of the flowers I've done so far:



Rest of the tulips will come tomorrow (only the red is done so far) and I'll hopefully have the double tall fern done tomorrow as well.

In that pick you can see the blue orchid, sunflowers, poppies, dandelion and red tulip. Also remade the birch wood and jungle is about 50% done but I'll save them for the time being.

I've done the white and pink tulip, only the orange to do now! I'll post pics tomorrow of the leaves, the tulips and also of the allium flower. Oh and the new endstone. I saw it in-game and it looked a bit old so I revamped it as well.

And yes hoodoo, that's the new jungle wood. Old one looked a little square and boring so I revised it. Really happy with how it turned out actually, I might even use it to build with now!

Finished all the one block high plants now. Also remade the piston front and I'm redoing the chests now (just changing how the wood is textured to make it look less messy, and it'll have more of a wood grain, like the new planks).

Here's some pics of assorted flowers and the new leaves I finished yesterday:







Only the spruce leaves are the same as they used to be as I still think they look pretty nice and they go well with the new spruce log and other leaves.


EDIT: Oh! I also made the sun about 50% bigger, as well as the moon. I had them rather small to make them seem like they're far away (as they should be) but I like how they look more when they're closer.

I've got a question about clouds though. I intend to make some custom clouds now, but I'm wondering if there's anything in particular you'd like me to do with them. Do you want me to add sections of overcast clouds, the occasional grey cloud, some stripes of clouds, etc.?

Just let me know if there's any type of cloud formation you'd like me to put in there and I'll try my best. Keep in mind they're only going to appear as the cubes like they are now but I can somewhat change the shape and I can choose colours and transparency for them too.

All looking good though! Just that is really noticeable~

I shifted the leaves down a couple of rows and that fixed it:



It was only visible from above and on fancy because that flat leaf is right at the bottom of the block so you can see the top of the next block just behind it (on fancy) which made it stand out. Gone now in any case though!

Got any ideas for clouds, fuzz?

Ooooh, those are really nice clouds, just the style I wanted to use as well! I've saved the picture so I can look at it for when I do the clouds. Will make a really nice reference. Thanks hoodoo!

Alright sweet, I've at least redcued this one if it's not gone entirely. I didn't want to move the leaves around as I really like how they are at the moment but I *think* it's pretty much gone now. Very hard to notice in-game anyways. Thanks for marking it out!

I would suggest going into paint.net or gimp or photoshop (or whatever you plan on using/do use) and just trying out some 32x tiles AND 16x tiles for something simple and common like an oak log or cobblestone or something. That way you can get a better feel for each res and decide from there which one you feel more comfortable with. Everybody has different tastes and feels better at doing certain resolutions than others!

Nope, not yet. To be honest I only just remembered it was there today when I was testing stuff on a server with a friend. Will get onto it tomorrow hopefully!
