I like the idea, however the using the word battleaxe may be stretching it a little because it is not an axe made for combat.
That said though, axe's only do 1 less damage than swords... So you technically could just use an axe instead of a sword and have one less tool to carry around! (that's what I'm doing now anyway)
Still, most MC players would probably agree with you so I would have to think of a better name... Hmmmm... *ponders*

I actually didn't know that. I may start saving myself 2 diamonds.
It may help you to know that there are 3 types of axes used for chopping wood: Felling, Splitting, and Broad.
Also, you could help the players who think this is obnoxious by offering a download without the language file.

Well to be fair I only noticed it once they added the whole stats thing when you mouse over a tool. Pretty handy little feature!
I think having the axes named similar to that would be a good idea. One thing I've just realised though, only some tools would be uniquely named as I can't really give a unique name to each of the pickaxes. I mean, a pickaxe is a pickaxe after all! Might look a bit weird if some tools are renamed with the little 'category' bracket at the end and some aren't.

You do have a point there. While on the topic, I edited more things. Most of it is just to make it better for myself personally, I didn't look at the textures to base the name. I may do that now. I don't know why but I find doing this entertaining.

Awesome, I'll add those changes to the other ones I have. I renamed all the armour stuff to things more... Historically accurate...
So now we have golden greaves, leather curaiss (for the chestpiece), chainmail tunic, etc. It works quite well really, especially for anybody who's played skyrim recently!

You may want to look through everything, I changed some stuff in the menus as well. Maybe even use mine as a base and change the things that you don't like as well as add your own stuff. I added A LOT.

A whole bunch of stuff in the language files. There was a link just up there^ a little bit if you wanna check!

Oh, a whole bunch of menu names, some block names (tnt became black powder for example), item names, basically a little bit (or lot) of everything. It's a lot more obvious in-game than in the files though.

Take a look at the language files in vanilla vs. the new one and it should give you a good idea as to how they work! They're actually pretty simple which is nice.
You could make some changes and post them if you like too, I'm always open to adding in the changes you make!
