Ahhh yea, this stuff happens from time to time on PMC. I think the moderators get so many reports and stuff each day that they don't spend the time to look to see if it's actually copied or not. They just assume it is... Hope it gets fixed soon though!
I'll have one up as soon as I finish it. It's taking a while to get it how I want it!
Fancy but still functional and it matches the tools well! (using the new iron sword in the pic too, it's based on geralt's sword from the witcher 3 trailer)
Update will be as soon as 1.6 is released so that I can use the new resource pack format on the curse uploader thing and PMC. So that should be on the 1st of july. I'm just messing about with random old stuff now anyway. Should probably get to work on more of the mobs though.

Yay! That looks amazing! Also, Good job on keeping up on the updates, they can be very hectic to texture pack makers.

Thank you! Glad you like it.
Yea, they can get a bit crazy but I enjoy making textures so having new stuff to texture is always nice. Even when I still have other stuff (mobs) to do...
Glad to see you're still working on this pack, it's the first I've found that I don't have any issues with!
Well, the iron is a little hard to see compared to cobble, but maybe that's just me!

Can honestly say I've never seen iron next to cobble so it probably is quite hard to see!
Might have to check it out...

I've noticed that iron ore is a bit harder to see in comparison to other minerals, but personally I don't mind. I like how it blends more naturally with the rock, and the overall subtlety. If you do plan on having the iron ore stand out more, I'd suggest a stronger brown tone or darker outlines - though I'm far from texture artist myself. =]
That aside... I love the suit design for the PMC skin you did, and the diamond armour looks fantastic. Looking forward to Canada Day to see all the new updates!

I'm going to redo the iron ore I think, I have a better idea for it now and the brown is just kinda ugly. Might even animate it as a test! If it goes well I can animate the other ores too.
One thing I do not like though is that it is 16 x 16.
It would be so awesome if this would be 32x32 ( I love 32x32 resolution)
You maybe planning on expanding it to that size?
If so It would be awesome! Still gonna give it a try looks awesome!
Thanks a lot!
Kind Regards
Cribbel
I hope that's never part of the plans, personally. To me, once you start upping the resolution of Minecraft textures, the graphics no longer look consistent. Big, chunky 1-meter blocks and billboarded grass covered with smooth high-res textures looks very, very off. Consistency is important.
Yea, I'm not planning on making a 32x32 pack (at least not a 32x32 version of Pixel Perfection). It took me this long to get where I'm up to in this pack and I'm not even finished! 32x packs have 4x the amount of pixels per block so it would take me a lot longer to make each thing. I'd probably never finish!
Plus this pack was designed around being a 16x pack so the style wouldn't work as well in 32x. I would have to completely reinvent a lot of things as well.
As for updates, I'm currently messing around with the language files and changing a few things so TNT is becoming Black Powder like the texture, I'm getting rid of the titles to gui screens, I'm tweaking the names of main menu gui stuff, just random things like that. I'll also be changing the colour of a few menu things if I can figure out how to do it!
I've been wondering... do you have any plans for the Hardened Clay blocks? If so, do you plan on making them look more like actual natural clay blocks, or like building blocks (e.g. solid rock or even smooth bricks)?

Nope, no idea. What would you like them to be? (anyone can chip in an opinion here)
Also, does anybody know any way of displaying armours with a program like skinedit or something so I can get a nice preview of them or something? I'd like a pic of all of them to display in the OP but I'm not sure of the best way to go about it... >.>

There's a program called Minecraft Skin viewer, just drag the amour png into the viewer and you should get a nice picture of it. http://www.minecraft...tended-version/
Yea, unfortunately it only allows one png at a time and armour has two png's per set... Which sucks, because it would be perfect if not for that...
Also, I'll upload 1.6 tomorrow when I wake up, I had a really long day (woke at 5am) and I just need my sleep!
Ok, the pack will be 1.6.1 on planet minecraft but I can't upload 1.6 on the curse downloader thing ATM because it's being stupid and doesn't understand the 1.6.1 texture pack format.
So yah, I won't update the OP for now but just head on over to PMC if you want the resource pack version of pixel perfection right now.
EDIT: Here are a couple of pics of some new stuff. Doesn't show gui which is completed now but whatever. Oh, I'll probably be changing some of the hardened clay blocks later so there are more unique uses for them but for now they're just different colours of the main block.
The new GUI looks amazing! One small problem though, you forgot to rename the horse armor to "Golden". Luckily I went straight for the horses and noticed this for ya. I hope that didn't sound harsh, because I know you worked really hard on everything. Anyways, since I was in the lang file already, I decided to tweak a few other things. Here is a copy if you want to check it out. I mostly just changed the names of dyes and fixed a few things so that they sounded and looked nicer to myself.
Oh my, the armor sets look awesome, i love especially the iron one - the gambeson looks great. Your clays make me thinking that mine may be too homogeneous, beautiful texture...
I'm itching to try your 1.6 update, too bad i will be at home in quite a few hours. =P
Thanks meringue! Glad you like them.
I really like your clay personally, it's very smooth and is useable in many types of construction. I actually used yours as inspiration with that whole clumpy but smooth look but made it with a tiny bit more contrast as my pack isn't meant to be as smooth and cartoony as yours.

Damn, and here I was thinking I managed to release without any issues!
At least it's not a big issue really so I'll implement it with the armour icons which I'm now working on. Should actually take less time than expected too so I'll *hopefully* have a small update out in a day or two to fix this and armour icons (and probably implement some of your name changes if you don't mind!)
Oh well, at least now I can shortly get back to work on mobs! Got a fair few to catch up on... Really not looking forward to the bunch of horse textures to do too!

I still think you managed to release with no issues, I bet some other people won't notice or care too much. And of course you can use some of the names I did, that's why I'm telling you. It's not like I put a ton of work into it so I don't see why you would need permission. I'll update that link if I see any other things I can tweak.
Yeah, there are a lot of horse textures for you to do, but no matter how long it takes I know it will come out great. Keep going strong man!

Sweet, and yes, hopefully most people won't notice.
I was actually thinking about doing something similar that you did for the dyes with the tools after I made them and found out that language files are counted in resource packs. Because all the tools have different shapes I was going to call them things like Stone Hatchet (axe) and Iron Battleaxe (axe) etc. Not sure what I think of it though. I guess I'll have a play around with it and see how obnoxious and annoying it makes things.

I like the idea, however the using the word battleaxe may be stretching it a little because it is not an axe made for combat. Also I changed some more stuff. I wasn't going to tell you but you missed a "block of" and you also kept changing the way you wrote "Black Powder/Blackpowder". I also gave a name to the Jungle wood since all of the other trees have actual species names.
Okay :D!
