Just a request: Can you change the birch leaves? The red leaves seem out of place when I am in a forest. Amazing texture pack otherwise.
Yea, I have the red leaves in because I'm fond of the contrast they provide in forests. If you want to remove them though, open up the .zip for the pack (what you downloaded), go to the misc folder, and delete 'birchcolor.png'. That will give your birch trees normal colours.
I like the red leaves, but I guess everyone has their opinions. Also, while on the topic of changes, can I request that you change the color of the fully grown nether wart to a slightly different shade of red like in default? It is confusing to tell the difference between stage 2 and 3. Also, the face on the unlit pumpkin bothers me a little, but I understand that you put it because it wouldn't feel right once you wore it as a helmet.
Yea, it doesn't really make sense that the pumpkins grow with a face on them but then wearing them on your head and being able to see through an uncarved pumpkin is kinda weird. I also kind of like the face, it helps keep the pumpkins a little more interesting!
Worked on tools a bit more, (doing iron right now), my unique birch leaves for 1.6 (yes, all vanilla) and new netherwort. It's a bad picture but it was taking ages to grow when I planted it elsewhere for a better picture so this is all I can give you right now. Tomorrow I'm going to finish at least the chain armour and tools so all I'll have to do is diamond armour and a couple more items.
Nice job! Are any of those netherwart plants fully grown? I can't tell still. It is confusing when everything uses the same colors. It would be nice if they changed color like wheat. Looking forward to the update
Any chance of getting a resource pack version of the current state of Pixel Perfection while we're still in the snapshot phase? Personally I always play with the latest snapshots and I'm a bit sad that I've had to go without PP all the while, plus it has to be done anyways eventually when 1.6 goes live, so why not now?

Yea, you can't really tell in that picture because the lighting of the nether and the angle sort of cram everything together, but they fully grown netherwart has blue 'bobbles' on the ends of the stalks. They're very very pale to begin with and get larger and more blue the more mature the netherwart is.
Your comment does make me think I'll make it a bit more obvious though, it's an easy fix.

Well I'm actually making the textures in the resource version right now as well so when I release the new update for the 1.5 texture format I think I'll add an extra link for the resource pack version as well. That way you guys already have access to some of the stuff I've done for 1.6 like the hay, the new items, horse gui screens, coal blocks, matching log tops and unique birch leaves.
So basically, yes, I'll add an extra DL link in.
Also guys, just finished redoing the dyes. Just potions, bonemeal, a new netherstar and the rest of the tools to go! BTW, for anyone wondering why I'm redoing stuff, it's to make them stand out more against my gui screens and to make the style of items more consistent. Some of them are very old!
Really nice job, and fast work for such detail. I didn't notice the blue on the netherwart at first glace but now I can see it since you pointed it out.

Yah, I'm going to make it a bit more obvious anyway though, I want people to be able to tell if some netherwart needs harvesting just with a quick glance, not an intense inspection.
Can't wait for the next update. Keep up the good work!
I myself am a fan of non-green birch leaves as well - though I think this has already come up a while back.
I like how you've managed to create the unique Ender-mechs and a very unexpected Netherwart. And not to mention the GUI looks very well-polished. That might be what I'm anticipating most!
I may have overlooked your mentioning of it, but if I could suggest anything next it would be the armor item icons. =o

Thanks! The gui is something I really should have done a long time ago. It's definitely one of those things that just makes a pack feel much more complete!
I'll be doing the armour icons as soon as I've done the actual armour itself so I can do it all in one go with a consistent style and I'll hopefully have all the armour done (just 2 to go!) for the upcoming update so there's a very good chance the icons will be there too.
I'm not sure how you find the time to keep redoing stuff you already made, but I'm loving the results!
Lol, yea, I would have finished this pack a LONG time ago if I didn't keep redoing stuff!
Thanks though, always nice to hear from the master herself!
Also guys, more tool progress, this time it's diamond. I wanted to make them simple and elegant because that's hopefully what the armour will look like and I like things to match. Also figured since people usually spend most time with diamond tools I may as well make it look the nicest! (hopefully )
Not entirely sure yet either but I may add a grip like on the golden tools to make the hilts a bit more interesting and probably more comfortable to hold.
EDIT: Just found out, 1.6 is officially releasing next week so I guess the resource pack version is going to be the first one I upload with a secondary file added a tiny bit later with the 1.5 and earlier version.
Don't worry about waiting until 1.6 is released to get the update though, it's still the plan to release it before then, most likely in just a day or two.

Can't wait to see what you do for 1.6!This Pack is very amazing, I love every detail of it, its not too dark, nor is it to light, but it's just perfect! You can identify most things just by looking at it, without out too much difficulty, I'll be using this pack for a long time!

Thanks! Glad you like the pack and the fact that things are easy to identify. I've been trying to make the textures recognisable but it's hard to tell if you're the one making them since you know EXACTLY what everything is at just a glance...
Haha, awesome I have something similar I made a couple of months ago:
(as above, click image to get to the PM page.)
Mine lacks an monocle but has an pocket watch.
Nice!
What a pinnacle of class he is... (although your link seems to not work anymore! I checked it yesterday and it was fine, now it says the submission was removed... )
As for texture pack news, just diamond armour and iron tools to go!

It was accused of copying some other skin and removed :< Which is false, I'll have to message the guy that removed it.

Liking the updates though, the UI looks great.
Ahhh yea, this stuff happens from time to time on PMC. I think the moderators get so many reports and stuff each day that they don't spend the time to look to see if it's actually copied or not. They just assume it is... Hope it gets fixed soon though!

I'll have one up as soon as I finish it. It's taking a while to get it how I want it!
