I really just like the look of 16x texture packs to be honest, I think they just suit the game amazingly well which is why I use them as well even though I could use a 256x or 512x pack if I wanted...

I've just made some custom water colour biomes and I've now almost finished the items too. Just need to do ingredients now! (ghast tears, netherwort, gold nugget, etc.)

I will be adding a lot of alternate textures in the future if I have time but at the moment I need to concentrate on finishing the pack a little more. The items aren't even fully finished yet! (they are coming in the next update along with a few other tweaks and fixes)
