The gui is coming along nicely too, shouldn't be toooo long until it's completed although I'm quite busy with uni work atm so I haven't had as long to work on it as I would have liked.
Still, should be done in a week or two, and then I'll update straight away (probably with some new stuff from the snapshots as well, I think I'll at least do the terrain and item textures for them)

I miss this. Does it still exist?
White wool CTM - I added the trim like in johnsmith's because it really does enhance its use in medieval builds and such and my snow can be used as a borderless version for white modern buildings where you don't want a wood trim.

No but I've been doing some building with wool and stuff and I've begun to miss it. I think I might re-add it! Although if I did, I think I would do it for all of the wools because... I dunno, I like consistency!
Oh random too but what do you have planned for the Netherbrick fences?
Would it be possible to have something to go with the Iron blocks? Would be awesome to be able to use them like dark iron fencing, would look awesome with the hopper for a "pole" for an old fansions lamp-post~
I didn't have anything planned but that's a good idea! I'll experiment and see if I can come up with something that looks dark and awesome but still matches with the iron blocks (and obviously the netherbrick).
Do you have a download link for the 1.6 version of this pack anywhere? I want to have a 1.4 compatible version so I can play FTB with the not-so-outdated textures

If you check back in a day or so I'll put up a DL link for a pack that uses the old texture pack format but has all the newest textures so it should be compatible with FTB or any 1.4.7 and below minecraft versions. (I meant to do this a while ago but I forgot...)
This is an amazing texture for this resolution, the hard work gone into to this is easily seen through the quality of each texture, and IMO this can be compared to many of leostero's textures.
How about that pale clay look you find on things like spanish houses? White- never sure if painted or not but it would be a nice touch~
Hmmm, not sure I want to make it white, just because there are snow and wool blocks that can be used for white things and I think a baked clay block can be used for a fair few things like making deserts more interesting (aka, make alternating layered desert plateaus with clay blocks and sandstone), make western builds, native hut type things, etc.
I'll probably keep it similar to default but something that matches my deserts a lot better.

Ah, nearly forgot about this pack until I decided to clean out my bookmarks. Nice to see all the updates since the last time I used it... which was a while before 1.5 IIRC.
Well done! Definitely adding it back into my collection. =]

Also, I love the reflection screenshot.
Yup, it's definitely changed a lot!
Hopefully for the better though, I know I much prefer the new textures to the old ones. That's probably why I added them to the pack though...
Ok, I made a new sandstone texture and fixed up a couple more items so I will be updating either later tonight or tomorrow. The new update will include gui stuff although most of it will be lacking detail still. It will all have the basic outline though so it shouldn't look too out of place!
The update will also have some stuff textured from the first snapshot (aka, hay bales) but nothing else just yet. Oh, I'll also be adding a 1.4.7 and below version of the pack for peeps who are still using that version for mods or whatever reason too.
Anyway, here's a pic of the new sandstone. I tried to keep it in line with the cobble, stonebrick and quartzblock styles.
I'd CTM that up a bit. Lovely though. The shape is so natural!
Also will you fix up your birch biome colors? The red leaves are out of place.
You no like red leaves?
I dunno if I will change them to be honest, I quite like them (as out of place as they are). Plus all you need to do is delete birchcolour.png in the misc folder to get rid of them.
I will be adding CTM to the sandstone though, it kinda needs it on bigger builds.

I'm a fan of the red leaves, personally. They add a lot of variation to the foliage, especially in forest biomes which is one of my favourites.
I've noticed more and more texture packs doing this lately, and some even change the leaf colour depending on the biome.
As for updates, I was wondering if v1.9 will have the GUI changes you mentioned yesterday? Or maybe it was 1.8, because I do see some subtle differences between vanilla. I think the style of this texture pack has good potential for a unique GUI.

Yea, I posted some pics of the gui somewhere, it was a fair few pages back though.
Anyway, the gui that I posted will be in the next update although it won't all be fully detailed yet, most of the gui screens will just be the basic design without any cracks or broken bits in them (I'm going for a sort of broken and aged look).

Curse PremiumMake sure your minecraft is version 1.5 or later. The textures won't show up in minecraft versions 1.4 and below.
