I am no longer making this texture pack. Sorry, but I have no interest in making a texture pack any more. I am thinking about releasing a mod for minecraft, though.
I don't like the ores at all. I dislike it when people just take the ores and add some more tiny little lines. You should entirely redo the stone. Maybe with rounded circles? You know that type of stone? I like it. :3
My texture pack, my rules. If you hate it, don't download it.
Hmmm...wow. ANOTHER person who can't take criticism? (Much less constructive criticism...I can't say I'm surprised now adays) I was just giving some suggestions on what I didn't like about it. I like the rest that you've done.

For one thing, when I was designing this, I never looked once at tooncraft, much less even COPIED it's textures!
For another thing, I can take constructive criticism. I just happened to like the way my ores look just fine!
Yeah, you can take constructive criticism. You know, so long as it doesn't differ from your opinion. #mature
I can take constructive criticism as long as it is a good idea. Changing the ores will not do anything. I could change the ores and people would probably still complain.
... So you only made this pack for the praise? Pathetic and immature.
Talking about the pack, you just took the default textures and removed the shading, how original.
Edits, edits. I'm very sorry for my arrogance. What I meant to say was that I'll edit this texture pack a bit more 'till enough work is done to actually make it look good. I know I pretty much removed the shaders, but that's kinda why I made this pack in the first place. To make minecraft look a bit less, well, I don't know how to put it. Please excuse my manners. I guess I was feeling very brave to taunt people saying that they can't tell me what to do. Again, I'll edit this pack to give it a bit more work. Also, please don't accuse me of copying textures. I never looked once at another texture pack while I was making this one.
Another edit: If you find a texture pack that has a similar art design to mine, do tell me about it. I will try to find the differences so I don't get reported. I realize my texture pack may appear to have stolen textures. But please be aware, again, that while I was making this, I didn't pay much attention to other popular/not-well-known packs.
A lot of these textures are copied from a pack called tooncraft. I am literally looking at them side-by-side and there are only extremely minor shading differences.
If I had copied them, this post wouldn't still be up, now would it?
This texture pack is not a copy, it's my own art design, with looks amazingly similar to Tooncraft. How? I don't know why, but I can assure everyone that this is my own style, and that any appearance to similar texturepacks are only in your mind.

They'd still complain because it is in all honesty, either an incomplete pack that is unmarked as WIP, and as such should be open to suggestions, or, just a bad pack. I dont see you having done anything to the textures you have changed other than reduce noise or, as in the case of ores, added more lines. Some suggestions I have are to download some well-known and popular texture packs such as painterly, and simply examining the styles of the blocks, items, and such, how they are drawn, shading, etc. If this pack isnt done, add a WIP to the title. If it is, shame on you. At the very least make some better changes to the blocks you actually have changed, because most of what is here currently is, sadly, barely art.
EDITS!!!!!! gosh dang it why can I not control myself and take advice?!
Perhaps you should stop posting.
I don't see the Tooncraft resemblance. I mean, ToonCraft actually looked original. This? No. As a rule of thumb, avoid editing default at all costs, unless you know what you're doing and you can justify it with some originality.

I know this may not look the best, but hey! At least people are giving me tips on stuff. Then again, maybe I should stop posting and just take this down until it's actually a decent texture pack. I'm not too good at judging my own work because until someone confirms it's good, I have no way of telling. Maybe I'll post up demo packs, for the community to alpha test, and tell me what needs fixing. Actually, I will. Gimme a few seconds....
I actually like almost everything about this texture pack right now. The only thing keeping me from using it is the lack of terrain retexturing. I hope you continue to work on this.
I don't visit the forums as often as I should, but anyways. I like the texture pack because of the clean look, many texture packs turn me off because they become too 'grainy'. And 16bit texture packs often turn me away as well because they often times try to achieve something that should be saved for a higher pixel count. But this one is clean, and straight forward and for me to say I'd use a 16bit pack is a rarity. I will not look at anything less than 256x +. I came across this for my brother because his computer can't handle much beyond 32bit.
I don't know if you stole or didn't steal anyone's graphics. For anyone to dogmatically claim you did because there is but a few pixel differences borders absurdity when there are so many texture packs of all kinds, it can be trying to ensure complete uniqueness, I'm sure. But I say keep up the work, and I look forward to updated version.

Actually, you're completely right. It is garbage! And I'm fixing the garbage, so please wait a bit.
