A while back Nuttyprot announced the discontinuation of his work on the NP Smooth pack on his website. I, like many of my friends, found his pack to be the only one that we liked that also had HD textures for all the mods that we use. With Nuttyprots retirement he also gave permission for anyone to continue his work providing he gets credit where credit is due and that you link to his website. So without further ado I present to you:
These packs are 97% created by Nuttyprot and the permission to use them is on his webpage in his post about discontinuing his work. There are a number of small tweaks here and there, a missing texture added or placed in the right slot on the grids etc. and we did also change a couple of the textures. We also made the change to provide slightly darker GUI's so every pack has at least that edited. Some of the packs have different versions for different versions of mods and the reason for this is simply to remove stuff that isn't needed in a different version of the mod and to keep our own version compatibility checking simple. Packs like Buildcraft 3.x might work on newer and older versions and builds or might not, YOU must test it yourself.

Oh, cool. A shitton of adf.ly links and no screenshots. So, you want money, but you're too lazy to conform to the rules and regulations of the site you're posting on.
Considering this seems to be a continuation effort, I'm going to go ahead and say the adf.ly links are illegal.
Hello again everybody!
Wow, talk about a hostile reception and here I was under the impression you guys were smart enough to read that you can see the screenshots at Nuttyprots website at http://minecrafthdtexture.com but no worries. The reason why I didn't add any screenshots to the post is that it was 05:52 when I posted the pack and I had finished all the packs about 30 minutes earlier after working on them for about a week. So at this point the screenshots were not a priority and I also (obviously mistakenly) assumed that interested parties would actually go check them out from the original authors website since apart from the GUI's its mostly the same.
As for the Adf.ly links I thought it would be a nice gesture support NP by donating the revenue from the clicks to him (btw if you go to his site and check who has actually donated to him you might actually see a certain yours truly in the very short donators list, when is the last time YOU donated to your favourite modder / texture artist real, proper money?) which I did forget to write in the first post as I was 9/10 asleep when writing it so my bad. I will remove the adf.ly links as I update the first post with the screenshots I'm about to go make after I get myself a big cup of coffee first.

So why didn't you contact him and ask for his Adf.ly ID so the money goes directly to him? Also, if you even bothered to read the rules, screenshots must be on the thread.
Here we go, finally got everything set up again for taking the screenshots, took them, posted them and also posted additional informations also on the first post. I do apologize for the initial post missing the screenshots. Like I mentioned earlier it was 05:52 and all I wanted to do is chuck the packs out and go to sleep (in my bed). Though I do have to say that post #3 already made clear what I had done wrong in the initial post, no need for the posters after that to bump their postcount.
Big thank you for Nuttyprot for your support! I absolutely love your packs and I honestly couldn't see me playing Minecraft without them!
WOW. what a bunch of whiners. instead of saying hey thanks for taking up your personal time and making me something very nice for free, you need to come in the thread and run your mouth with a bunch of crap. Great way to motivate modders and addon makers to continue working hard just for you. Sekra did the vast majority fo the work on this and poured every minute of his personal time getting it going since Nuttyprot has been unable to continue. i think a little grattitude would be in order.
you guys sound like a bunch of 6th graders standing int he lunch line and they ran out of pizza and french fries. Crying you have to eat a salad instead.I bet you even get your panties in a bunch when your mom folds your superman undies the wrong way.
grow up, get a life. We had an entire list of mods we were going to work on once the API arrives. Thanks for shooting a crapload of holes in my motivation. now you get nothing.
Railcraft packs updated today. Fixed some misalignment issues with a few tracks, remade the crossings and made the new reinforced track switches to have slightly different textures like they should to indicate when the switch is active or not.
I will hopefully soon take a bunch of screenshots highlighting the mod packs. If any of you have screenshots using these modpacks please give me links and I might use them for the modpacks.
This is most excellent news NP! I'm gonna remove all links for my versions, if you want any source files or anything we changed just ask, I've got some PSD's laying around.

...But that's just my opinion.
