im pleased to present you the better default pack the pics speak for themselves

apple textures stone and wood textures were changes as well as a few othersthis one speaks for itselfso does this oneoh and i also changes the dirt/grass to look prettier but i could get a screeny of it for personal reasons its direct because its just a fun little pack i made and wanted to share it with youi make no profit at all enjoy also dont forget i will be accepting most request to texture something as long s i dont have to make it HD and if i do send me a canvas like from faithfull but make sure to show perms to use it

ppl please request a new texture this is going to be a full pack but tell me exactly what i should do next and how i should make it

1. Stolen textures -3
2. Default Edit -3
3. Overdone -1
4. Decent screenshots +2

1 (+), 3 (-). -5

anything else i should do before i update my pack?
please answer im rying to make this more my stuff than default's

You answered your own question there.
It's overdone because we at least 2 default edits weekly.
Texture packs having original textures doesn't make them crap; many look far greater than default.
If you don't want opinions, don't post it on the internet.

Seradicus has a point you know. Most default edits are the scum of the Texture Packs section. I find it rather amusing that you responded by demanding that we ignore him.

I don't like any of the edited tools. They're too messy and don't have any shading.
The wood looked better with the dots. :x

Also, you did steal textures. Most of these are made by Notch to begin with, and editing them slightly does not change the fact that they are stolen.

i dont think that counts and thank you for your support ima shade the stone tools and there suposed to look COBBLED together get it cobble xD

He makes a point though, since most of them are about 3 edited textures that are crap. I for one like the actual good ones (I started using yours today and love it!) but lots of people want full texture packs.

Your idea is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too over-used. Think of something original.

Default edits are only bad when all they do is change one or two blocks or items. There are plenty of amazing default edits I've seen, but they COMPLETELY overhauled the way MineCraft looks.

my default pack about 60-70% of the tools and weapons and the dirt grass farmlands snowgrass and all the wood and some gui's
and netherwarts blaze powder and redstone aswell as gold ore (which i think is my finest piece of work)
and many other things i don't pay attention to thanx for the positive feedback
