Guys quit saying this texture/resource pack is crap. Its not, I actually like it. Also for all those saying OOOH HE DOESNT HAVE PERMISSION FROM VATTIC, can you not see? Its under the rights to use the content.

I installed the 1.6 version and put it into the resource packs. Then I used 1.6.4, I noticed the the texts weren't join together, they were like separated, help? Is it because I have Retro Resource Pack installed with it?
...
Stop hating on this pack just because it isn't completely made from scratch. He did more than just "Resize" the textures, he improved them and smoothed them out. Some of the textures are drastically different. Personally I like Faithful 32x, but I like this more.
He wasnt hatting, he was saying Ctrl+F because you have to check the textures when your making the pack to make sure they are the way you want to have them in your texture/resource pack.

Is there anyway to get the fonts in normal size like in the 32x32 version of Faithful?
Optifine fixes that, but are not working very well with IC2 (which I'm kind of hooked on ATM),
Cheers!
P.S. Tried MCP, but with no success. I might do something wrong though.
Yo, im a HUGE fan of the Faithful 64x64 series and also love the 32x32 but was wondering if any progress has been made on the newest version of Minecraft 1.7.2 as it has been released and even if its not available for a while are you able to start work on that pack if you already haven't? just inquisitive

Never mind, got it working! Loving the pack!
Unzip Faithful 32x32. Move ..\assets\minecraft\textures\fonts to it's own folder (example: 32x32 Font).
Copy pack.mcmeta from the unzipped Faithful 32x32 pack (at ..\pack.mcmeta) to your font resource pack folder.
Optional: Edit it to change the description. If you're on windows, double click (or right click, Open) and check to select a program to open it. Browse for Notepad. Change the text in quotations after ' "description": '. You may also change pack.png. I personally copy ..\assets\minecraft\textures\font\ascii.png to ..\pack.png.
Delete the unzipped or zipped Faithful 32x32. You don't need both. While using the zipped file will save space, using the unzipped folder may increase load times when starting MineCraft. You may zip or not zip the font folder with the same consequences.
Start MineCraft. Add your texture folders in the Resource Packs screen, then add your font folder on top of them all. The up-most font folder will override the lower texture folders. This is needed for Vanilla MineCraft as well, as it seems the Vanilla game can only handle up to 32x32 fonts.
dude! this is the AWESOMEST faithful t-pack EVER!!! thanks! i combined it with code crafted's pack and made a custom MumboJumbo pack that Mumbo Jumbo himself uses in his vids! ty again!

In the .gif that shows a comparison between vanilla, 32x32, and 64x64, your wooden doors are verticle planks, but when I downloaded they looked like a high def version of the ugly old doors. Why is that? I also have this problem with the lava looking almost normal, and the boring square sun/moon.

Looking forward to the 1.7 update of this pack!
You no longer need Forge nor Optifine to use a 64x64 texture pack.
You expected more? NOPE.
