I found the problem. In the newest version of his texture pack, the skin is updated for 1.8. Here is the 1.7 skin, you can replace it in assets/minecraft/textures/entity/steve.png

I have found a glitch that causes steve to not appear to be "steve" with parts of the texture missing while playing the game with texture packs v1.4.0 ad up, this can be fixed by going into an older version of the pack like v1.3.1 and below then copying it from 1.3.1 and removing the skin from 1.4.0 and then copy the steve skin into the 1.4.0 folder.... the glitch was caused by an extra set of legs and arms that were added in the "Steve.png" file.
you guys stfu! he made a good texturepack and i love it. that is ALOT of work to make a 64x64 resourcepack so dont complain!!
I don't even know what to say about this comment....ummmm...
The points of making a texturepack and submitting it on the forums is to showcase your work and as well to receive criticism/feedback on it. The people who posted above were giving feedback on an obviously brokentexture, which was made for use in the 1.8 snapshots instead of the currently released versions of minecraft. I'm sure everyone who posted above love this texture pack as much as you. But, they understand that loving something doesn't mean giving it immunity from all criticism, but to criticize it more than the average viewer, for improvement and to fix obvious problems with it. They did exactly that, so now we can go back to playing in peace without deformed ghostly Steves running about.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE TEXTURE PACK, quite a lot better than the vattic 32x32.
an error that i found unless its only me: the skin that comes with the texture pack is messed up its all in the wrong place.
once again this is probably only my own error cus i use cracked minecraft. but still this is the only texture pack that act like this.
Awesome job with the texture pack.:D
No it is not you, it is an actual glitch, find an older version of the pack (such as 1.3.1) go open the texture pack in winrar or any other archiving software for that matter and go to assets -> textures -> Entity then copy the steve skin, and delete the one from the latest version then paste it into the newer version (1.4+). hope that helps!
I have been making updating this texture pack on my own for a while. It is not the best, but if you are interested I could post it here. I am currently working on the 1.8 update.
It uses some of the old textures that I thought fit better and it is based off of a plethora of packs.
Nope, I am running 1.7.2 and skin skin and heads are glitched
Thanks so much man!
I please refer to my post at the bottom of the page to fix this

Ok and your point is?

I believe he's already gone. Good luck to him, however I think someone will pick the project up when 1.8 gets officially released.
