Here, I took some of your advice and uploaded an alt version : I darkened the wool and made it rougher, I also changed the chiseled sandstone a bit so it would match the normal sandstone.
Can you please test it again and give feed back? Thanks.
The alt version indeed looks better to me. I like your normal sandstone wich looks like sandstone bricks. See the screenies: It looks good as pillars and window frames.
The recoloring of the wool is an improvement too. Looks good now.
But I'm still not fond of the smooth and chiseled sandstone. They are old textures from die default pack, aren't they? Did you use them as placeholder?

Quite pretty. But, I agree. The ores aren't too overly original. Too...default. I think the ores are the most fun to create and the time to be creative, but these seems bland. Other than that, I think it would turn on fans of SMP's Revivial, since it reminds me of it.
But speak of the devil, I'm judging this by looking at the pictures and haven't tried it out yet. So sorry for my inconvience. I'll give it a go, maybe. Good job with this. Very likable.

Yes, the ores do have many similarities, but keep in mind that this pack aims to keep the main "default" feel, while improving on it, thats why some of the textures remind you of the default.
I edited the sandstone a bit more:
The chiseled sandstone[s] are supposed to be sort of a "protrusion", I guess, from the wall, sort of like a plate.....if that makes any sense, while still going together nicely.
EDIT: after looking at that picture a bit more, it does seem that the color is still a bit off.....

OK, sorry everyone for the long wait i've been away, busy, and generally lazy.
Quantumcraft version 1.2.4 for Minecraft 1.4.6 is finally out!!...sorta.
While I've added the new fireworks and everything, they are still more or less default as I am currently trying to figure out what to do with that. I have also updated the pie.
Pssstttt..... I've been working on several projects that may or may not be released in the near future, depends on how sluggish I am in the next few weeks.
Interesting, when I have school and need to get work done, it's my most productive time, while I'm on break is my least productive time.....go figure.

Yes, probably. I do think they fit the pack though, so I'm just going to make them so they fit the normal sandstone more.....
