Hi, I am vfd42. What started as a thought, quickly became a few colors. Then, I used those colors to make some textures. I then looked back and realized, "hey, I could make this into a texture pack." That is what I present to you today. A dark, damp, nature-y pack.
If you like bright, cheery colors then get out while you still can.

Steelfeathers- I started this pack to fill the hole in my heart that was left when she discontinued her Lost Valley. Everything she does is fabulous.
Thistle's Wolfhound- One of the hardest workers out there. A beautiful pack, that always puts me in awe.
Appleslinkey's Isolation- The dark pallet really inspired me. Also just an awesomely terrifying pack.
I am a member of the Texutre Artist's Union. Though I think of them as more of an army. Now, that particular emblem means this:
Gold: A strict level of security. Having this on your pack indicates that your textures can only be used after written permission is obtained from the creator of the pack. It also indicates that adfly links on remixes are never acceptable, under any circumstances.
And if you disobey the emblem, you have to answer to an army of 152 wonderful artists. Tremble.

I am surprised that this isn't getting more publicity, it is rather nice. But as Cirpons said, the flowing lava is weird, it needs some tweaking.

It is not popular because I need to flood it with more textures.
However:
-The sidegrass needs a stronger shadow
-Ores need to be more pronounced. They just blend with the stone too much
-The fancy leaves are too spaced out
-I feel that your nether is too... earthy. Don't like the brown tinge
-Those green specks on the glass are unnecessary
-Circle stone block is... well, i can't picture it fitting with anything.
-The torches look pretty weird ingame.
However:

Maybe a bit more orange, and I like the third railroad picture the best.
