About the only criticism i can think of is that the ores could have more contrast in their lighting.

I will look into that. I am also thinking about adding some variety to the ores, but it would be hard.

It is simple.
1. Download MCPatcher, run it and press "patch"
2. Download this pack.
3. Start Minecraft, go into the "texture packs" option, click open texture pack folder.
4. Drag the downloaded .zip into that folder.
5. Click it in the Minecraft texture packs menu.
Enjoy

Update! Now compatible ith 1.4.6! Tweaked a few blocks also.

Nope, I had been meaning to update it for a while, but didn't do it due to time limits.

Discontinued.
The textures are now open source to anyone who would like to use them.
