Redid my wood end texture, though.. I could get some feedback - I like it, but again I am biased
What is the sideways one? It looks very odd having sideways grain but the cut-side on top of the last one. Perhaps a clerical error
The redpower stuff looks great but doesn't blend well with the theme of this pack. It seems too... sci-fi for it, if you know what I mean. If I were you I would save that for use in another pack and re-do it to match the theme you have going on
I think the one with the sideways grained one is supposed to be palm, Develsaa can confirm.
If this is true, it looks great but the inside should be different from the rest, IMHO.
(a google search for palm trunk center shows how they look - they pretty weird, in my opinion, almost corkey inside).
Of course, it's up to you, it might not be supposed to be a palm, just some nonspecific jungle tree, and then I'll look like an idiot.
EDIT: Fronds as leaves could look awesome, depending on how they're done!
EDIT x2: The Jungle leaves could already be fronds, and then I would look even more like an idiot - I haven't found a jungle biome yet. Does anyone know what those swamp trees that look like they are on stilts are called?
I would love to be able to do that Darth, however I am not quite sure how, maybe I can make a separate image for it, I'll google and see if that is even possible. The way it is in terrain.png is that the same wood end is used for all blocks of wood.. Oak, Spruce, Birch, Jungle.. Which is why I wanted to redo it to draw it all to the sides.

Jungle trees.
As for the RP2 skins, RP2 already looks fairly out of place in it's and MC's defaults. Kinda hard to make advanced 'sci-fi' like wiring look like it belongs in a natural world as lovely as this texture pack. But with all of the covers allowing you to hide it all, it should be easy to retain the natural look or leave it exposed as a person-by-person preference.
Doc - Like an Alien pack *cough cough* hehe, no I have far more advance ideas for sci-fi.. this however ties really well into the industrial craft stuff I already have, and I am feeling a bit overwhelmed that I'd like to continue on with what I have for now in regards to that instead of redoing it.
Darth - I think you mean Walking Palms or Cashapona trees whos roots look like stilts. Though I could be completely off. My Jungle leaves are already fronds.. am still looking into if I can do the wood end separate or not, in the image I posted above, you can see why I wanted to redo the ends, too.

I would recommend using CTM and using the "top" method for the jungle tree block

I actually am in the middle of re-doing the tops of my separate logs so they are more representative of the woods they represent.
Just to stress to everyone, this is my first texture pack, in many ways I am still very much new to doing them, and may be slow to come up with new things while I absorb the amount of information that comes my way. There is a lot of things I want to do, and there are a lot of things that still confuse the heck out of me, so please just be patient while I figure it all out, and to the people who've taken me under their wing, thank you so much, it's appreciated in more ways than I can properly articulate.
Well. CTM is fun now I somewhat understand it.. Keyword somewhat, I am terribly frustrated on how to get the logs to work properly, but I have created a lot of lovely grasses and flowers -
But I cannot get the logs to work for the life of me, it either looks like this - Or completely overrides the texture to all sides, and not top and bottom that I'm claiming defeat for now and walking away.
Nor did that, and nor did any other combination of the aforementioned work..
At this point I had tried every conceivable way of horizontal, top, vertical... But I am not familiar yet with the original ctm and how to do it that way.. If you are able to help, great, here is the file when I got frustrated with it..
Thank you.. however again I believe I must incorporate it into the original ctm and I am not sure how to go about doing that, I do apologize.

Hmmmmmm... I'm not that good with CTM, but I can guess that the log will be repeated through that whole line across. Sorry if I couldn't be too much help,(should've mentioned that in the last post...) I thought I could throw out some ideas, "cause in Ovo's rustic redmption, we're pretty much done with it and some people are working on some great CTM. Thinking about it, maybe you could get some more proffessional help there.
I do plan on becoming CTM and Better Skies Compatible - Again sidetracked with Redpower2.
Love to see the Redpower stuff coming along, keep up the great work.

Or you can use this seed which puts you.. in a jungle - -7436861395301440050

You are so sweet
So first let me tell you what I did..
I created the image and put it into randomctm.png in the 32nd slot
Added a properties file that said :
source=/ctm/randomctm.png
method=top
tiles=32
Saved it as terrain153.properties
That did not work.
So I did it this way :
source=/ctm/randomctm.png
method=random
tiles=32
faces=top bottom
That did not work .. so I did it any combination of that way..
Then I figured maybe it would do it vertically .. so I made the image into 4 sides.. put them in slots 0-3 and did it this way
source=/ctm/topctm.png
method=vertical
tiles=0-3
That did not work ..
source=/ctm/topctm.png
method=horizontal
tiles=0-3
Nor did that, and nor did any other combination of the aforementioned work..
At this point I had tried every conceivable way of horizontal, top, vertical... But I am not familiar yet with the original ctm and how to do it that way.. If you are able to help, great, here is the file when I got frustrated with it..
