Tremendous job. I was especially pleased to see a Biomes O' Plenty addition to your pack. It certainly makes playing on a Monster server a lot better. If there's a downside, it makes the Highlands textures and the Twilight Forest textures look very jaded. I'm curious if you have considered tackling either of those mods considering their 'theme' is quite similar to your artistic taste.
The tropics biome I've selected for my latest project uses some of the highlands trees and you can tell right away they are vanilla textures.
Twilight Forest creates another world, seperate from the the overworld in the same way as the nether. But it is a forest world that is in perpetual twilight.
I had to ask. Is there a way to remove the void particles? Im building a bedrock base, just found out this pack was updated, kicked all my other resource packs aside but now I want to cry cause holy carp the void particles are terrible. No offense but I feel like Im swimming underwater with them while in a house of shards of mirrors. Turning particles to low is the only option I have. But the obvious effect is that it effects all particles. And I dunno if there is an option for it in just mcpatcher cause I cant use optifine.
Sorry. I guess I should mention its also only with shaders on. But I only get these when I use your resource pack. Infact, your particles arent half bad when not using SESU. But when you turn shaders on. hooooooly carp.
Basically sesu takes your particles and.. runs wild with them! Which I guess means.. its technically not the resource pack? But then again if they were simply removed then Id have no problem in the slighest.
Sorry, please dont take this as a complaint btw. Ive been here before, I love this resource pack. I just wanna build with shaders cause.. well theyre fun! And even you gotta admit building like the first screenshot might kill you.
Thats bedrock at my feet btw. Im using a flatbedrock mod which is why I want to build at bedrock. At lv8 is when the void particles disappear but flatbedrock puts the bedrock level down to lv1 which is why its so prolific in the screenshot. Your version without shaders is quite nice. But with.. not so nice.
No it's fine, I run with Seus as well, and it gets very annoying, let me see what I can do to fix it. In the meantime - http://i.imgur.com/4OVvEX6.png - That has removed particles. Texture pack > assets > minecraft > textures > particles

That worked perfectly! I could kiss you.
If you do find a way to add back in the void particles and have it not be as intrusive then that would also be amazing. but as it is, you helped me out a ton, more then you could imagine. I love the particles for stuff like the torches and what not so not having them on was sad. But this is great. Thanks again for helping me out so fast.
No idea whats CTM Windows, but yay updates! Or something!
Another shaders question. I figure it wouldn't hurt to bring up shader issues as they appear, unless you'd prefer me not to?
I was just looking for lighting options, and while some mods have SEUS problems, which is no where near your problem, I noticed glowstone did have some problems.
You can ignore the other items. This was a screenshot I posted to SESU, asking while Bibilocraft items looked like that.
Hi UnspunReality, this is a common problem with mods that add new block/items that are not designed to be compatible with shaders. I use BibiloCraft myself and get the same result. The newly added block/items have not been made with Maps so the shader doesn't know how to project light and shadows onto them. Sadly there is no fix for this unless the author of the BibiloCraft adds Shader support.
That was a quote I got. So I figured since glowstone was vanilla then perhaps you could look into the glowstone if you have time. It looks like glowstone is textured/mapped on all sides except one, which you can see in the screenshot as the glarey side.
It's hard to see, but I do see the texture on that side. I checked on Seus on my version and the glowstone is textured fine so I am not sure it's something that I can fix - My apologies.
http://www.mediafire...0-universal.jar - Updated Biomes O plenty - Work in Progress - It's the entire mod itself. I'll extract my textures in a few days and officially update but if you want something now =)
Cheers!
Ill wait for the official update tho but yay! I love how stuff looks with your mod. Now I just need to find some way to get rid of bedrock fog, which isnt your fault. Its just minecraft. Shaders remove bedrock fog but I prefer to mine with shaders off and when theyre off then the view at bedrock is like just infront of your nose.
I finally got to see your BoP support too. Twilight forest was conflicting with it, I fixed it, got BoP to load and man, your trees are amazing. There is one tree who's leaves looked a little different compared to everything else, but man. Its like watching a movie when using your textures. Keep up the awesome work!
Do you know if you plan on texturing any other mods btw? Or just vanilla + bop?
In regards to other mods, I am texturing a mod at the moment - Lord of the Rings mod, but really I only skin mods I am interested in. A few mods are not up to 1.7.2 that I'd like to skin, so I've not worked on them until then. I won't go back and texture mods that are not updated to 1.7.2.
Holy carp. Those flowers look awesome. Never heard of the LotR mod but I guess I need to check it out now. I only play 1.7.2 myself, just was interested in there were mods from here you might texture. Though honestly I couldnt think of any anyway. Bibilocraft perhaps. Chisel maybe, Twilight Forest.
Certainly understand only skinning mods you're interested in though. Makes sense. Like that guy who made DSFix for Dark Souls/Dark Souls 2 when he doesnt even like the game. Confusing as to why he'd even bother then!
Either way, lovely work. I totally had modular planters installed cause I love flowers and seeing them.
But it all depends on the time I have, and what not. My interest in minecraft waxes and wanes, and I dislike being spread too thin. It's my kids summer vacation so I probably won't get much done until autumn.

Red Power 2 will never come out. But oooh, animal bikes would certainly be fun. I use that other creature mod myself, not mo' creatures. But whatever you prefer.
Damn. Now that I have your texture pack I kinda dont wanna build an underground base this time. Between your textures, chisel mod and natura I have no idea what I wanna build.. but I wanna build it!
I would call Highlands the 'little brother' of Biomes O' Plenty as it adds various flora and trees specific to certain biomes.

Twilight Forest is the mod that I think is really up your alley. And I don't believe there are all that many textures involved in the mod itself.
Curunur - Are you using MCpatcher or Optifine? Any other addons? Is your graphics card updated?

Regardless.. I have thought about the mods my kids play.. Mo' Creatures, and maybe Animal Bikes.

its a recommended version... Thanks.
That's the entire mod, With my textures in it.
