Kailmaruso was standing up for me, sometimes I don't have a voice in regards to my work, and he can get really vocal about it.
I don't mind criticism, I welcome it as I do all feedback. If you look through the thread, people have suggested things and either I've agreed with them and done it, or I haven't. In regards to you, iSakridLyfe - I appreciate your feedback, but I am not changing the colors. I picked the colors for a reason, I don't use any mods but BoP, and that's only when it's updated. I picked colors that I liked, and that meshed well with my aesthetic senses. Your post criticizing that choice came off a bit rude to me, I doubt that was your intentions, but telling someone you've ripped apart their pack and meshed it with others to fit what you want and then telling them please stick with various colors, came off a bit off.
It's just Faerielight is a labor of love, I've worked now 2 years on it, a year before I released it to the public. It's caused many tears, and frustration as I've tried to figure things out, and for someone just to casually tell me that they've taken the textures they liked and added it to others then chastising me for using different colors, just rubbed *me* wrong, hence why I didn't reply to you initially. That is your part that I felt came off a bit.. odd.
Regardless, I don't want this thread to turn into bickering, I have final say on my pack, and I'm going to stick with my original colors as for me, it's what I wanted them to look like.
TheRonin - I'd suggest getting it, as stated in my first post that some sort of HD mod is needed to help my texture pack work, Unless you have a beast of a machine in order to use it (The original Texture pack is about 2mb, that's it, mine is 180+mb it takes a lot of power to read my pack, and either Optifine (Not tested anymore by me), or McPatcher (Which is what makes my pack look stunning), is what you need to make it work properly).
I updated to 1.7.4 version. i had 1.7.2,,, it fixed it. I did not see any other glitch. Machine speakin i use a asus r.o.g. laptop. it has a core i7 with 12g ram and graphic card has 2g dedicated mem. I'm not sure what you consider beast but so far it runs everything on high settings pretty well. Maybe i am missing out some features i'm not aware of. Let me know if there somethingIn any case, I like your pack you dd a great job and i would say to people complaining that if they are not happy with texture pack they just need to make one for themselves.

This makes me sad; Modern gaming laptops are starting to get almost as powerful as my desktop... :'(
That's not normal behavior, I switch between 1.7.2 pretty regularly, in fact I am using it right now to test Biomes O Plenty, additionally my game does not crash nor do I have any of the issues you are experiencing. Have you tried a fresh install of Minecraft? What type of computer are you running? How much memory, are you using either Optifine or Mcpatcher?
horses are invisible and when u look at any place a horse is at fps drops down to 2
when switching from default to this texture pack it crashes the game
vr 1.7.4 works wonders
nice textures and other stuff
You post this when both the designer and core tester have been posting in regards to 1.7.2 working fine, and without a crash log, and without screenshots; will likely get you outright ignored. Possibly even flagged.
I have changed Netherrack and Quartz Ore - I've tweaked some other things for my update coming when I realse Biomes O Plenty update.. here is a preview of the Netherrack and Quartz Ore - Any thoughts?
Texture pack has been updated! Please view the first thread to get links, thank you!

I finally got around to doing the spotlight I was on about doing ages ago, which is actually good because the pack got updated in that period.
Before I put the link down, just thought I'd give a quick spoiler and a bit of feedback (one I mention in the video, one I don't)
(Mentioned): I previously stated (and is only my personal opinion) that the gold and iron block looked like plasticised linoleum floor tiles; I see the Iron block has been changed and I love the new texture and I really hope you're going to do, or are in the process of doing the same "extreme makeover" to the gold block
(Not mentioned): I am running 1.7.2 and BoP and I've found something a bit... "wrong"? One of the biomes included in the mod is an arid wasteland or something along those lines and is made up of hardened clay and it's variants. The problem with this is that, because of the way you've textured the coloured versions of hardened clay (which I actually like), the landscape looks quite bizarre:
(Unfortunately I deleted that world, so I had to improvise for the screenshot)
Video link!
Thank you for the review, Yes I am aware of the clay problem. The old 'kitchen tile' textures are still there in my pack and in the 'change-log'. I went flying through the desert and came across those tiles like that, I thought I had redone them all to look like 'mud' vs kitchen tiles, but alas I had not and just decided that I liked the tiles more, so you have to extend a bit of imagination in regards to those! Ironically, the gold texture did look like the Iron texture at one point, then I redid them both to be a bit more like blocks of metal, and then I decided to revert the iron texture back after a lot of feedback, I like my gold block but maybe I'll revert that, too.
No stolen textures. Like I said, this has been roughly a year in the making =) Thank you however!
I love this texture pack! Outstanding! My only problem is that after I select and use this texture pack, (x256) Upon restarting minecraft java will stop and not respond. :/ Any ideas why? MCpatched with TMI mod, that is all.

This typically only happens if either there isn't enough system RAM for the pack (You are keeping the folder zipped?). Do you know what your PC specs are?
