This looks like a really nice texture pack. I am a big fan of Biomes O'Plenty and that is how I came to be here. I just downloaded the 256X version and can't wait to give it a whirl.

Develsaa you know I love your work. Please ... if you're going to add another mod to texture don't let it be Millenaire. The texturing would 90% be different genders, professions and cultures of villagers and GUI's. I think your absolute best work in your textures is your blocks. I don't think Millenaire even uses custom textures for blocks.
If you're really looking for a mod that I think fits your talents and interests to a T ... well I'll have to muster up the courage to ask you to support yet another mod on top of BoP.
It was brought to my attention that my grasses were not working for all of Biomes O'Plenty's biomes.. There is a fix, but I must warn you it changes the mod and the grasses a lot. But for now if you go into my texture pack, and go into the misc folder delete the following > swampgrasscolor.png, swampwatercolor.png, tundragrasscolor.png, and pinecolor.png
It should make the grass change color again for different biomes.

No, you can use MCPatcher as well. However, depending on the compatibility between either MCPatcher/Optifine and w/e mod does 'modular powersuits' (which I have not seen/experienced), there are likely work-arounds. Have you tried using Magic Launcher to help identify incompatabilities?

What Xionetrernum said: check out the thread for that mod. I highly doubt it's something that Optifine is doing wrong that somehow breaks that mod when it works with literally hundreds of other mods just fine. You most likely will see something strange with MCPatcher as well.

Any chance of a screenshot or the in-game item names? I'm in a desert biome for Biome's O Plenty and I'm not seeing any sort of 'fire bush' around. Likewise for the Silverwood Flowers.
Ideally, you would enter creative mode and middle-click the object to copy it into your inventory for their in-game name at the very least. I'm not finding a burning bush item in the creative inventory or any other flora that's showing broken textures.
I am testing your report using Modloader, Forge, Optifine, Rei's Minimap, and Biomes O' Plenty installed in that order. Please also provide a list of mods and their install order.

I'm pretty sure your whole issue is with modular powersuits. I also believe I told you before to ask on their thread.
Faerielight is 100% compatible with Bop, Optifine and Thaumcraft. I've been running a 50+ mod modpack with no issues whatsoever with textures and in Thaumcrafts' case I've been running both with the vanilla textures and a modpack addon. The common denominator again appears to be the powersuits and you're deciding everything else may be the problem.
The 'fire bush' and 'silverwood plants' are textures from the Thaumcraft mod, nothing to do with Faerielight or BoP. If they're broken for you then you may have guessed correctly that it has to do with the animation.
So again there is nothing that Develsaa can do to fix your problem. It's not a texture pack issue.
When I add the texture patch on the Biomes o'plenty zip, the game can't start... It stucks on a black screen.
Crash error report (in a spoiler) or it didn't happen.
Most likely you need to allocate more memory to java. Texture packs and mods suck up more memory when playing Minecraft and you'll hit a point where the default allocation just isn't enough.
You didn't mention if you're using Faerielight with BoP or Faerielight with BoP and the FL Textures for BoP as well. If it's the latter it's also possible you made an error trying to copy the FL textures into the BoP mod's zip file.
There's no crash.

Look in your /minecraft folder and copy and paste the contents of the ForgeModLoader-client-0.log file to this thread USING SPOILERS. 95+% chance I can tell you what is going wrong and how to fix it if I can see that.
I just got a look at this pack on the Minecraft Monday Show, and I gotta say this is an awesome pack overall! Diamonds to you!
Just from cruising around on my server I've seen a couple odd things. I've got a tower made from the various quartz blocks, and I noticed something weird with the carved and pillar quartz blocks. The carved looks like it's supposed to be the pillar block on the side (the top/bottom is fine), and the pillar block looks like... well... white pinstripe pants >.>;;
I didn't look on the previous pages to see if this has already been mentioned, so I apologize if I'm being redundant.

Holy $#!7 ... This is just amazing. This is one of a few Texture Packs that really looks epic.

Did you unzip the file to the right spot? Sometimes the game will hang when loading my texture pack as it's such high resolution.
Have you rebooted your computer?
