I'm working with an extremely talented modder to help make it a reality! Splitting the workload with me handling art and him doing code has worked out great so far. One of the main pros for going mod is that I'm no longer restricted to the limitations of vanilla Minecraft's block availability. Hello multicolored metal plates with stairs, slabs, fences, panes, etc. variants.
Well, awesome face
If it become a mod would you post anything here or in another thread???
Since you plan on turning your texturepack into a mod does this mean that it will be limited to single player now? because of that are you abandoning the texturepack for future?
Also is the mod just going to be the blocks, will there be ways to craft them in survival, and will it keep it's creative aspect?

Nope! Something important to me is having it multiplayer compatible. Right now the focus is to be a tool for creating fun adventure maps and creative mode building.
Well best of luck SMP, remember please dont over work yourself...I will be time to time checking your progress ;P Hey just a few requests for your mod to have:
-Laser (pistol, sniper-rifle, automatic assualt rifle (2x variations please [alien & human], rocket launcher, shotgun, grenadeand possibly sub-machinegun)
Personally I think a mod is an amazing idea. Could you possibly add blocks shaped like tiny buildings and roads for maps in command centers? Besides that, I loved building mini cities with this pack, and no mod ever did this before.
I just wanted to tell you that Mcpatcher does not convert the pack correctly. The skybox is broken, and the glass panes are not transparent. I made a fixed version for myself, but i think many players also rely on this pack, and even when the mod is released, they don't want to loose their work.
I would at least publish a correctly patched version.
I truly believe the new resource pack system might help revive this.....*Fingers Crossed* I love this pack to death and am sooooo hopeful that it will return, bigger and better than ever!
I really wish there was a version of this that was able to be used as a normal texture pack, just so the textures don't go to waste and you can use it on other servers. ;~;
To everyone who wants to use this with 1.5.x: Simply run the texture pack conversion tool in MCEdit. Problems solved or your money back (even though it's free).

Download MCpatcher and run the "Convert Texture Pack" option.

I'm a pixel artist who makes pixel things and maps! I also do line art occasionally.
I have two work in progress resource packs!
This is the second one!
And of course, by "work-in-progress" I mean "will never, ever be completed".
He has a very good point
Perhaps you can learn some grammar there as well.
Was thinking of making a 16x pack... but...
It's beautiful....
You win the sci-fi genre.
May the 15th be with you.
Hey dude don't give up anyways if you could make your own sci fi pack that would be great for all I can tell SMP has scraped this masterpiece
Excuse me sir but could you please pm me one also? That would be very grateful!
Don't bother the texturepack topic is dead...
