Have you met me ever? I've been trying to figure that out for ages.
Also, I looked at EVERYTHING in MCPatcher thread related to CTM and nothing about any methods which are "snakelike"
Please help me SMP.
Please!
Plenty_Of_Fish, you could learn how to do it by opening up his texturepack and looking at what he did.SMP, how did you get the side blocks of grass to change color accordingly to the tops?

I might be misunderstanding something about your question here, but that's just how biome colors work in Vanilla, no mod trickery there. I just changed grasscolor.png to have crazy colors instead of normal ones.
Hmm, the text on signs is all brown instead of green with the new update. Kinda sucks for my build . Anyone know a way to fix it?
Edit: Fixed, delved into the colour.properties file. Apparently the hex code for sign text was dark brown instead of bright green like it should be. Ah well.
No actually I haven't. The answer is they connect using the "connect=ctm" option and then you just build them like a snake in-game!

Yes, I understand that but the sides of the grass block remain green for me and don't change with the different biomes.

Then the problem lies with your graphics settings; If you are using Optifine, change the "Grass" setting under "Detail" to "Fancy"; If you are not using Optifine, then your "Graphics" setting will need to be set to "Fancy".

My policy: cobble stuff together and hope it sticks... which happens quite often seeing as cobblestone just floats there. Weird...
Probably my favorite 16x pack, and definitely the most clever pack I've ever seen.
Do you ever plan to make something that is more compatible with survival?
Maybe its just me, but this pack already works really well for survival. The ores can be redone quite easily, and if you don't really care about uniqueness, you can just recolor the redstone ore to match the other ores colors like I did earlier in this thread.
The metal blocks(iron/gold/diamond/emerald/lapis blocks) can just be the ones from revival, they looks great with this pack too.
This is what I've been using in multiplayer:
It's not perfect, but it gets the job done quite well. Either way, I really look forward to seeing what SMP can do with this pack in the future.
I believe that he has stated that he plans to continue the pack, although his main focus is going to be his Revival pack.

So, would i just have to download that and then past that over the original 2263 terrain.png? and then CTM would still work? if not, then i'll just have to wait or learn how to work with the CTM thing

You can download his other texture pack, SMP's Revival.
