Is there a site that has a few packs to download? I've been to 4 different places, and they all want me to download and install a different download manager... witch is ridiculous considering the size of these files. And of course my security software starts screaming when i start the process. Is there somewhere to just download a few to try without all the BS? Thanks!
Ya, a couple of those sights i got from links on fhe forums here... as well as a couple of google searches. Not really interested in downloading a download manager that makes my virus software flare up. Upon further looking i found some here that are direct downloads. Sorry if i'm new at this and bothered you so much that you felt the need to be a little snarky.
A question about texture packs (as noobish as it might have been) belongs in the discussion section, not the texture pack section? What the hell is wrong with you people? I'm new to this forum, forums in general, and Mindcraft. Excuse the hell outa me...
Ok, when originally trying to decide what section to put this post in, i'll admit i didn't read the rules. I read the brief description of the subsection. Texture Discussion said "Discussing the Creation of Texture Packs." I wasn't interested in 'creating' a texture pack, or talking about creating one... so i chose Texture Packs "Changing the look and feel of Minecraft" as that sounded more general to me than something as specific as 'creating' them. I mean, we're all speaking the same language here right?
And if the description said that, fine. But my lack of common sense told me "Discussing the Creation of Texture Packs" meant talking about the creation of texture packs. You want to end this, but imply i don't have common sense. Nice
you guys should like stop being antagonists your making the problem worse so shut up and deal with it he didn't know. not like if this is posted in the wrong section the worlds gonna end.
Cynicalism is bad. Also, you are in the texture packs forum. All around you are millions of texture packs. Choose a popular one; it won't have some shifty download managers.

Most texture packs have downloads from Mediafire, so I don't really see the problem.
