This is a texture pack I made for fun and it actually turned out pretty interesting looking. It's just every single texture in Minecraft (that can be changed) with inverted colors

This does not require MCPatcher but it does look nicer with it.
The only texture I did not change was the vignette because it would make it very hard to see if I had.

You can change every texture in Minecraft with MCPatcher. Your screenshot shows absolutely nothing.

Please don't post these ugly, unoriginal defualt edits to the forums.

I know it's ugly. I just made it for fun and decided to share it because it looked neat. I'm pretty sure this site is for sharing, not making professional works of art.

I already said I posted it to share if anyone else was interested/curious or just wanted to see it. I don't really care if no one likes it. I never expected anyone to use it as a normal pack to use normally but it can be fun to play around with.

I've made a few texture packs that actually do look nice but I never post them on the forums, they're usually just for me to use.

I use it.... if you don't like, don't say anything.

I think it could be good if you did some manual work on it, i mean i like the colors of leaves and stuff the only thing wrong with it is the lack of originality

I like your first attempt at editing the default pack. Work at some more and post another one. I know you will get better and better like the other artest have. 8-)

If you actually did click anyone's names, you would see that we all have a good amount of positive posts. On good packs. Original packs.

What this topic contains is nothing more than a mockery to those actually putting time and effort into their works, or those using this section as a means to improve, hopefully to a level of being a successful graphic designer. Those packs that take months, those are art. We appreciate seeing art here.

*A troll is someone who intentionally does something for a response. The difference here being that most, if not all frequenters that you would like to call "trolls" do it because of topics like these being clutter, and bad.

Now, if you would like to further this conversation, I ask that you do it in a private message, so as to stop bumping this thread, and avoid a flame war.

I'm actually making a real texture pack atm. As I've said before, I never intended this to be a real texture pack and I didn't mean to make you mad just because it doesn't look good to you. It was purely for fun.

I think you missed the point that it took almost no effort to make this pack, it has been done countless times before. There is absolutely no praising this pack. Packs that waste forum space are not tolerated by the veteran members of the Texture Packs forum. Now, if the OP had actually put some decent efforts into making this, perhaps there wouldn't be so much necessary hate towards him. I am looking forward to see what he will make with his actual effort so don't assume that I will hate something because of its creator.

I apologize for bumping this thread but I cannot stand for people who just praise products that are really bad. This may have been just for fun but that would have been better to just share within the OP's social circle, rather than to share within this forum.

Although texture packs don't have to be "professional works of art," they have to have effort and originality put in to them.
Putting the negative filter over everything has been done a million times before and takes no effort at all.

But you post a pack so people will use it! What's the point of posting a pack if you don't expect anyone to use or like it?

Normally, I tell newbies to texture pack creation (Like yourself) some tips and things they are already doing well, but you haven't really show any of your artistic skill in this, so I can't tell what you're good at. All I can repeat is effort and originality.
