FORUMS. IT HAS COME TO MY ATTENTION THAT LIQUIDS LOOK LIKE FECES. THIS WILL BE FIXED IF A SOLUTION IS FOUND. thanks
Hello everybody! I've come to you today with a texture pack- but not just any texture pack, it's my texture pack, so you know it's good.
I guess I'll just jump right into it, this texture pack is 64x, for Minecraft version 1.2.5, and it's my attempt at making Minecraft cel-shaded.
For those who don't know, here are some examples of Cel-shading.

From a game with cars in it:
Alright, now that we're all on the same page I think you deserve some of those beloved screenshots so you can click on the download link (but only if you want to, of course.)
This is still a WIP (work in progress) so not everything is going to be perfect, but it's mostly finished for now I think.
Also, if you want me to add this effect to another texture pack, just tell me in the comments and I'll get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks yous guys!
No offense, this is a very attractive pack, and i can't fault you for that, but all you did was select each block is PhotoShop and add the cel-shaded filter to it. I see a lot of these faithful packs now that hardly any work to make. Maybe if you add its own certain style to it, making it look more like borderlands, then I would download this pack, I do realize the point of the pack, but I don't think its worth a download, sorry, better luck next time.

I'm afraid you'd be wrong about the Photoshop cel-shaded filter thing. I made the whole thing in paint.net and it took a couple of weeks with only an hour or so in each day. But you are right about the 'hardly any work' part. It was very easy, and I'm sure anybody could do it, but not everyone has the idea, and I thought some people might like it. I'm not trying to compete with the big texture packs (Dokucraft, Misa's realistic etc.) or even become that popular. I just wanted to show some people so they'd at least know that this was a thing, and maybe download if they liked it.
This isn't really cell shading as it is outlining. Cell shading is when the transition between the lighted portion of an object and the shaded portion of an object is sharp and distinct instead of gradual and smooth. I do kinda like the idea of an outlined pack, but if it's only on objects then it's effect is limited. It might be good coupled with an outlining mod though, so that the edges of surfaces also have the outline. And no, it can't be done in a texture pack unless you added outlines to every single texture, and then you turn the world into a blocky grid of lines that cause horrible tiling issues.
