And for the redstone block, what about a veiny block. Picture it like a stone block with redstone cracks in it, as if we picked small redstone rocks and put it together.

You should add a custom skybox and some random grass bits if you can (basically a little more random textures like in stone little cracks sometimes and in grass little flowers or inperfections). Also, using the fancy new animated textures, you should add some! Like swinging grass.

Quartz look absolutely beautiful . I can't wait for the update, keep up the excellent work! Btw, redstone block should be more dragons, or snakes, or whatever the hell redstone is xD

I'm seriously considering dropping the snake-as-redstone angle. I'm finding that it's just too hard to interpret for the other redstone items without giving a tribal vibe. Maybe I'll think of something else cool and RPG instead.

Steel, if you redo the redstone RPG texture, it should totally look like some ancient magical artifact. In fact, just got a better idea - make the redstone block the full reconstruction of this magical block, and make the redstone ore look like a fragment of that or something. Then, when you make the redstone block, you're reconstructing some kind of ancient mystical technology.
Just be quiet. It's their texturepack. If you don't like it don't use it. Plenty of people have said they like it,stop cluttering their thread with it.

I LOVE the look of this texture pack but I cannot get it to work for the life of me, I downloaded it, did the MCPatcher but it still doesn't work. I also didn't understand the message "copy the text in the box bellow and paste it into your sig to support this pack". Perhaps this is the reason I can't view anything? Please help.

If you're playing with minecraft version 1.5, the texture pack won't work because it hasn't been updated yet for the new format.
And "copy the text in the box bellow and paste it into your sig to support this pack" is for putting the pack banner into your signature. It has no effect on your ability to use the texture pack.
