@Milikney: *blushes* I just really like my mods in MC. Mostly just add-on like Simple Ores, Forgotten Nature and the like. Things that just add to MC's world but doesn't change it like crazy; something natural.
And I really really recomend Optifine for HD textures. It boostes your FPS [depends on your computer, but sometimes up to 50% or more and it is perfect for weak machines]. I swear by it and this is coming from a former skeptic until I tried it cause I thought there was no way possible something like that could work but hey, it does.

Also I just love watching this pack come together. I have a very soft spot to pixel art texturepacks and Steel is the one to blame for it all [Enchanted was when I turned to the dark side] I have a hard time standing anything other than them now and I honestly don't regret it one bit.

Even with a really crappy computer you should still be able to run 256x and under with at least 30 FPS.

I use Optifine. It helps, but when using higher-res texture packs (typically 128+), it's still a bit laggy. I can use them, yes, but I get more lag spikes, and overall I still prefer 16x and 32x. So ultimately a matter of preference.
ETA: I should probably mention that with 1.4 it's gotten a bit better and usually I can play with 64x textures, no problem. /Usually./
That being said, I've been using this for some adventure maps, and it really brings more life to the game, wow. It's much better than I expected. So pretty C:
Love the anvils + plants, as always! Maybe you could (after this is finished) do MoCreatures textures? That would be so cool! happen to be using that mod at the moment, along with extrabiomes XL, and smart moving.
Steel, did you know that if I click on your texture pack in my minecraft my Minecraft likes to crash. Must mean your texture pack is too awesome.Or my computer can't run 32x+ textures cause its a toaster.

Yeah I was using my laptop and it full on crashed it XD Although I still use it, I just have to turn all settings to minimum, which doesn't bother me since I'm almost too blind to tell the difference.
Are there any other texturepack artist reading this topic who would be able to make Tropicraft rock Dragon Dance stylish textures? I would appreciate that so damn much
I'm rather confused as to if you're asking for an original, a mix, or a copy. All three roads are bumpy if you're asking someone else to do it for your pack, but if it's for a personal pack you mind as well try it yourself. I may provide help if you can tell me specifically what you are asking.
Oh and steel, wool is a little inconsistant on the right side...the bordering is different than every other side.
I'm not sure wehat you were saying about the black outline looking wierd from the inventory but mine look fine. Maybe beacuse i have a big screen? Anyway great update!
