1: please change the diamond block make it better like iron gold....
2: make a ctm for the ores blocks that wel make it better especially for the emerald
3: i dont like the obsidian too much can you change it ?

Okay, someone help me out here. How do I get modloader to run with MC patch? Because minecraft crashes even if I delete all the files and load up a clean jar. It crashes when I patch first, it crashes when I install modloader first, it crashes when I try to install modloader using mc patch....and yes, all the files are for 1.4.2.

There is no crash report. It just stays a black screen and never starts up, and I have to close it out or go to the taskmanager to shut it down.
Hmm, heard of that problem. Can you post a screenshot of your MCPatcher when trying to install Modloader via MCPatcher?

One, where is this poll, like, where can i locate it? a link would be help.
Two, I seemed to have this same problem. Not sure how long you let the black screen load, but after a while it booted up mc for me. Like i dunno, a minute or two, five max? And if that doesn't work try optifine, it's way better than mcpatcher, in my opinion

It's back up at the top of this thread. I don't know why polls seems to be randomly disappearing, but it's happened on several threads so far.

i dont think you can install modloader with mcpathcer
I had the same problem the way i fixed it was within mc patcher do patch, log into minecraft, unpatch and when you enter minecraft again it will be running perfectly
Does it have to be modloader? Maybe try FML?
I'm running Optifine and FML with Magic Laucher, and everything seems to work fine.
Yea, FML (which isn't Forge, it's FML) is Optifine-compatible. So, unless you're trying to play with BetterThanWolves, you can just use Forge and Optifine for HD stuff.

Yea, FML (which isn't Forge, it's FML) is Optifine-compatible. So, unless you're trying to play with BetterThanWolves, you can just use Forge and Optifine for HD stuff.

Eh, I've just given up. It seems like a lot of people are having issues, so my bet is it's a problem with the mod(s) and not with what I'm doing.

...Except for 1.4.2 massive lag issues and bugs.
Actually, you can install anything with MCPatcher, it just comes with the HD features as example mods.

Mine doesn't work, so I need to use MCPatcher instead of Optifine which glitches just about EVERY item in my pack.
I'd feel really stupid if it did, so I'm probably gonna feel stupid.

So practically, I need Forge to get Optifine.
