I support this.
(Btw, anyone know where I can get a dynamic shadows/light mod for 1.3.2? It looks like the big glsl shaders mod is only compatible with 1.3.1, which I don't have)
I don't believe there is - if there was, it'd be quite popular, due to how poorly the GLSL Shaders are optimized.
The lighting effect can be accomplished by saturating yellows with editing.

It's still going to be a wolf, so no thanks.

I tested his theory, does work pretty well, also, if you do wanna go along the same style of a wolf, you should probably think about making one howling at the moon with a blue stripe down its back in a tribal design.
awesome texture pack only one thing i would like to ask about. whenever i make a new weapon or tool it doesn't change to look like it should it stays in default
Gah! What a terrible time for me to get sick! I'm sorry guys, what with midterms and interviews and copious amounts of snot, I don't know when I'll be able to get some serious work done on this pack. I had hoped to do a Halloween update with some ghoulish vanilla textures, but I don't know if I'll have time now. Oh well, I'll see what I can get done anyway. Hopefully something will come of it.
The IC2 Support could do with some polish, the machines don't really feel that Machinery-ish,
Overuse of the stone furnace face hasn't helped, makes identifying machines a chore.
Talk to the mod support team. I haven't touched a single mod texture.

Hmm, that's odd. Make sure you have the latest version of this pack. Also make sure that you download from this pack's PMC page (or the direct download on this thread) and not some random site on the internet, because they frequently use old versions of my packs long after I've updated.

Can I ask what you mean specifically? I suppose I could make the macerator, and extractor symbols stand out more, but what do you mean by machine-ish?
Except the macerator and whatever is to the right of it.
By the way while we are on the topic, how can I make the machine textures for my pack? What is what in the png, and what png do I use? There absolutely MUST be a guide somewhere.

Idk abiut a guide, but i downloaded the sphax patch as a template. IT is in the ic2>sprites>block_machine

Thats a pity, I hope your well soon, also I've been working a bit on a signature stamp due for my art class, modeling it after your woods.
Better, but if I had machines next to them, how would I know which machine was which? they look identical on the top and front.
In the vanilla textures the macerator has a round opening on the top to load goods into its grinders.
as does the compressor which appears to have a observation window.
I'm not saying you need to copy vanilla, but each machine needs to be unique and identifiable.
I'm pretty sure both of those pictures are the macerator, on and off.
They are the macerator and the extractor on. I'll see what I can change on the extractor, as you are right, Some kind of observation window would be better than a vent.
Forgot to mention that the 'shine' on those drawers is a different angle to the rest of the machine.
If you move the handle to one side on one of those drawers and added some hinges and a grill (A bit like you have on the top), you'd have a very nice Iron/Electric Furnace
I wanted the shine at a different angle. It didn't look right keeping that same 45 degree angle. As far as the iron furnace, idk. I am going to keep tinkering with the macerator and extractor until I am happy, then I will try the iron furnace again. Thanks again for the feed back.
About that...I've unfortunately been having a very bad week. Dealing with severe insomnia is no fun at all, and it's hard to be motivated to make textures when you're depressed and all you want to do is sleep. On top of that, this is a very busy time of my life for me-- the next week and a half is going to be eaten up with senior midterm exams, and I also have to run around to a bunch of interviews, one of which is on the other side of the country.
Long story short, real life is very time-consuming and soul-consuming at the moment, so I haven't had the opportunity to make textures.

Curse Premium1. No, vote for me!
2. Outlines? That would look pretty bad imo
3. A snake? Damn that snake is fat. Not saying the texture is bad (it's amazing), but the snake? It's either fat or short. Pick your poison.
Also Steel, I have an interesting idea for CTM glass, I'll show you in a bit.
