Well, in MCPatcher and Optifine (you need at least one of those two in order for a 64x pack even to work, so you should know what I'm talking about) there is a program called CTM that lets artists connect their textures in certain ways. There are multiple methods, starting with original, which requires 48 unique textures to work, which is why Steel is so happy to be finished XD, and that means you can have borders and stuff that connect to any block connected to it, then there is horizontal which only needs 4 textures and connects to any blocks to the south, east, north or west of the block, and vertical which connects to any blocks on the top or bottom of the block. There is also random, fixed, and pattern (I think that's what it's called)
Weekends here, and I might start getting to work on some fan art for this! (Hurray!) I plan on taking alot more in-game photos and making some coolio photoshop images out of them. Also, if any of you guys want to see what I'm talking about, just take a look of this one I made of myself:

Dude, let her be, I personally think she should hold of on items until everything else is done, though you sitting here and commanding her what to do should earn you a one day ban from this section of the forums. Be it drastic your ruining everyones experience and stressing out an already stressed artist, GTFO if you want someone to do your bidding for free.

Looks Great. I don't know what i was thinking with the axe this definitely fits Tungsten more . Just a suggestion but i think it would look pretty cool if it was a shiny black sheet instead of a grainy one.

For armor? I'd keep it thematically consistent with the tool/weapons of the similar ores. The iron sword has a very heavy, celtic/nordic feel to me, so something with a lot of bevelled areas would be good. Would also reccomend dragon heads as motif. Diamond armor ought to have smooth, flowing lines. Almost want to suggest some persian influence?
For the mobs, it really depends how different you want to be from the norm. Creepers are usually seen as some vegetative creature, which can lead to some cool looks. DMPack had a very interesting interpretation - The Creeper itself was dark, but it looked to be burning from within, literally set to blow. Skeletons and zombies are classic and iconic, though.

I have a nifty idea for a sheep, but that's about it. So any ideas would be welcome.
