EDIT: I did Tungsten ore for Tekkit.
-snip-
It needs to be a bit brighter probably.
Aaawww yeah.
Although I wonder if a battle axe is the best representation of tungsten. As far as I know, it's a metal that's used primarily as light bulb filament. ._.
(But maybe it's used as something else in tekkit, I don't know)
I recently went into art class and started modeling some drawings after this texture pack and my teacher loved my drawings, thanks for the inspiration c:
I suggest to adapt the gravel textures of you pack to the gravel textures of the default. Not to say it should look like it, but the textures should match more with the textures of stone/cobblestone/stonebrick etc.
Smallest of issues: when viewing worlds in MCEdit, all water is invisible. It uses the textures for flowing water, which is not filled in on your pack. It's not a problem in game, of course.
Sorry. Talk to the MC edit people. I may not have a flowing water animation, but the square on the terrain.png for flowing water is definitely filled in.

Yeah....about that....I really need to make a palette for you guys. I don't already have one pre-made, or I would have sent it to you already.
I've playing tekkit for months, and I don't even know what tungsten does.
As for the pallet, I have just been going off of the MSpaint pallet, and adding whatever I need.
Aaawww yeah.

Tungsten's usually used as an alloy for everything except electronics (lightbulbs as you said being a major use for it.) It can be used as a replacement for gold in jewelry or as a carbide (tungsten carbide), where it's used primarily for tools - drill bits, saw blades, etc.
If you're wanting to stick with the medieval fantasy theme I can't really think of a good application for tungsten. Broken lightbulbs would be a fun way to represent it but wouldn't fit in with the rest of the them
You don't like dirt with rocks in it?
Personally I think it makes plains villages look much nicer since the brown in the gravel balances out the green grass and gray cobblestone. It looks a bit out of place in deserts and other areas, but so do most other things.
Steel, I just made it a battleaxe because Kazoid said so, but I will probably turn it into a hidden orb or something later. Or an alien artifact, that always goes well in Medieval packs XD
have you made a diamond non-normal ore yet? If you're working on it...then i have an idea. a ring. Simple as that. bam A+ on all exams you pass college forever and win life, just because you made the choice to make a diamond ore into a ring. (obviously that won't happen because of that decision, but hopefully you accomplish the stuff listed above)
I feel bad to disappoint everyone, but its nowhere near the same concept, just something that I drew, and you guys inspired me in hopes people would like my stuff too. Here it is though, click for full resolution:
feathers pls hurry up in finishing all the vanilla textures. I LUV this texture pack and want it extremely badly as a finsished version.
...I know you mean good, not bad, but seriously rushing an artist looks bad and never works. Sometimes it even does the opposite of what you tell it to do.

Feedback is appreciated.
I have no idea how it draws from Dragon Dance, but I love it!

Curse PremiumI think I could tweak the old tungsten to make a rather fancylishous ruby ore.
Cool, would love to see how it would turn out!
I have just started a 128x version of the pack,
If anyone agrees with this idea, comment.

Well, you may have gone off the deep end, or you are a genius. Wither way, I agree!
Tungsten is a rare ore worth 2 diamonds in EMC. So far the only use i know for it is to be Condensed and used for it's high EMC.
well that is what I use it for, but it most of other complicated science use that we don't know about.
on it.

Curse PremiumDo you mean vanilla or 64x faithful? Because if you want vanilla pack with those 64x weapons no offence, but you make no sense to me
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Also Steel, what would you prefer for the ores? (Multiple choice question, your overall mark is out of 6!
Ruby: Dragon Scales (same as emerald), Dragon Scales (new), Gems, or a Ruby Necklace?
Sapphire: Dragon Scales (same as emerald), Dragon Scales (new), Gems, or a Sapphire Wristband?
Tungsten: War Axe, Dark Orb, Alien Artifact, or a dead Lightbulb (or a real animated one, I could do that!)

Retired StaffRuby: Gems or necklace, whichever you can make look cooler.
Sapphire: Same a ruby
Tungsten:
AlienAncient artifact. :3For your own personal, private use, you are certainly free to take the weapons and toss them in with a faithful pack or whatever.
Well...true.

Curse PremiumVillagers could trade dragon scales.
You could make a Dragon Block out of dragon scales.
Dragon scales CAN be made of emerald, because different people have different definitions of Dragon. Some may say it doesn't even have scales!
Dragonite's speeeeeeeeeed increeeeeeeeaaaaaased, even though it probably already moved fast, making this move a total waste of a turn.
