I love this texture pack I have been looking for something like this for a long time. I can't wait until the next update, but a suggestion, the oak wood looks a little too pink for my taste, but its only a suggestion, I love the pack
NO. No seamless glass. Just no. I'm not having the 'big invisible wall' syndrome in this texture pack. I don't care what all the other hip texture pack makers are doing, I'm not jumping on that particular bandwagon.
Someone made a glass floor over lava and you thought it was an open space, huh?
I don't suppose it's possible to find some kind of halfway point, is there? I don't know a lot about the nitty gritty of CTMing things. I'm actually not a fan of completely seamless glass, but it can look really weird having small chunks of complete glass if you're trying to make a very large window.
Hey guys, Tekkit textures! I wasn't going to post these ones but i was bored so i thought "why not".

There you go
That in a way is bad for the silver ore it looks like a dragon dude??? why??I mean nikkoliteJust a suggestion thoughI made that actually helped just a little.
Sorry guys, no update this week. I've been swamped with work and personal problems, so I haven't gotten much of anything done. Hopefully I'll be able to get back on the horse for next week.

^This. The worst part is that I was the one who made the glass floor, and when I loaded back up I freaked out thinking the glass had glitched or something.
But no, I'm not going to do anything approaching clear glass. This is a medieval RPG pack, not a modern pack where big unbroken windows make sense.

Roger. It'd be an issue if the glass was hideous like vanilla's, but it's not, so it's fine
EDIT: Is there a way to turn off the water overlay that appears when underwater? I can't seem to figure out where the texture is being pulled from. Trying to murder it because it's annoying as crap!
Actually, speaking of other resolutions, I was inspired to start a 32x version, or an edit of LBHE's at any rate.
Resized for better viewing purposes, and yes I checked if it tiles.
Way to go man, you're really knocking out those textures. Can I ask how many textures are left to do, or do I not want to know?
Thanks, and yes we still have a lot to go. Me and vdf42 are doing them when we have time and Verticity is busy, I guess EpicLizard and SamMaher are as well.
Kazoid, I think you are doing a great job on Tekkit, but personally, just... make more original silver and nikolite. That's all I can say.
But if you need suggestions: Make silver look like it is a weird sheet of pure silver overlapping SOME of the rocks, but overlapped by others.
Yeah i was thinking about silver being different and i was also plotting to make tungsten a war axe! Not sure if i want to change nikolite though.... I like the idea that redstone is dust and so is nikolite.

Not as busy any more, but other games, namely Borderlands 2, have been taking up some time
This is easily my favorite texture pack so far. I especially like the diamond sword.
Only thing I find a bit off is the nether brick being red. Not because of a black fetish, but it makes finding nether fortresses a bit trickier since everything is some shade of red.

I believe you can get rid of it by creating a blank image, labeling it "water.png", and sticking it in the misc folder of a texture pack, but don't quote me on that.

Ah, there we go. Looks good. Maybe you and LBHE should collaborate.

What other color would the nether brick be besides red?
I have a philosophy when it comes to texture packs (which you are free to disagree with, if you chose). This philosophy states that I should never sacrifice design atheistic in order to make things more 'visible' or 'easy-to-find'. I'm not making a minecraft manual demonstrating how to mine ores or find nether fortresses (not to pick on you), I'm making something that's supposed to be beautiful to look at.
But like I said, you are free to disagree with me. I personally don't think nether fortresses are all that camouflaged with this pack, however.
Like the progress, and just to let you know, your art is absolutely magnificent, you should try to make a living off of it.
Who, me? If so, thank you. I would like to make a living at it, but besides minecraft texture packs and some traditional art I don't have much of a portfolio. Which makes it hard to go looking for an art job.

Thanks! I'll give it a shot when I get home. Damned water overlay making it impossible to see underwater at night...

It accomplishes that goal. My only quibbles so far are I'm not quite a fan of the clay bricks color (it's a little too bright for the usual applications in my opinion, but once I get to the nether I'll see if nether bricks look better) and the green water used for swamps might be a little bit too green... from a distance the green grass and green water kinda-sorta blend together.
Like the first one. I have a fetish for sandstone + sand + stone in this pack. o_o
Better World Gen 3 makes some interesting terrain formations sometimes. I think the water color you're using is a large part of it, that blue just looks so wonderful combined with the sand colors you're using.

Oh my didn't mean to offended you, if its any revelation you do look rather pretty...god why do I always say stupid stuff :c
Well, you should never believe me, as I'm a complete idiot when it comes to judging things, as I am either too extreme or too kind.

No real structures to take pictures of yet.
Will you be doing a 'Normal Ores' version of the Tekkit ores?

Curse PremiumBut if you need suggestions: Make silver look like it is a weird sheet of pure silver overlapping SOME of the rocks, but overlapped by others.
Looks Awesome!
Ummm... What does this have to do with the texture pack?

If enough people want it then sure why not
