Sorry guys, the update may need to be pushed back a bit. I didn't get any texturing done yesterday or today because of the flurry of career fairs and interviews, and I'm exhausted at the moment. I have to go to the last day of the career fair tomorrow afternoon and do some homework tomorrow night, so we'll see what happens.
@Kazoid: I like it, and I have full confidence that you didn't copy pasta shapx's textures. ^^ (Black with yellow stripes is hardly a unique design, after all, so it's probably been done many times. No offense to you.)
Slightly off-topic.....if all goes well, I might end up being one of the operators/maintainers of the international space station!! You know those guys in Apollo 13 sitting in mission control and being all awesome? Yeah, that would be me. Hopefully.

Haha, no, I'm not an astronaut, although that would be ridiculously cool. I'm an engineer, and I'd be doing all those engineer-y things required to run a space station. I'd probably even sit in mission control sometimes, although hopefully I'd never hear the words "Houston, we have a problem." >.<
As for the wire, Sphax's texture has a definite pentagon, but all I see in Kazoid's is a box. I don't understand your point.

Sorry. Moment of utter squee has finished. I just can't wait for all the Tekkit textures. My brother is bugging me to use Sphax just so I'll download Tekkit, as I refuse to play with default. But it's just like 'No. I am waiting for Dragon Dance'. So I have a frustrated 15 year old bugging me. xD

Because he wants me to play a Tekkit world with him. He does have his own copy; he just wants to play a LAN world with me. I just refuse to get Tekkit until I have an awesome texture pack to cover all the icky default textures.

That's why we have textureers like us to make minecraft look playable.
Can you finish up the special rails(powered and detector) and tnt?

Powered rails and detector rails have been done for a while. You can see them on the terrain.png on the OP.
I'll get to TNT soon, but minecart wrapper and item won't be worked on for a while. So feel free to try your hand at them, if you want.

It isn't actually. Look on the previous page where Steel has posted a picture of the new emerald ore. It isn't drastically different though.
