Possibly. It makes me happy to see good texture art for once. This forum has so much half-assed work made by people who can't seem to take criticism that I tend to get cynical. Then I come here or to wayuki's thread and I feel happy.
Just seems a bit strange. ---On-Topic---
Those last textures you posted, Feathers, are fantastic! My only complaint is that the wood on the noteblock/jukebox textures is a bit... underdone. You have that grain, or whatever it would be called, on every other piece of wood. A bit strange to see wood lacking it.
The dispenser is a bit empty, but it looks nice, and would probably fit better than the over-the-top dispensers I usually see.
Ugh. Forums are acting up, so I can't quote/reply to anyone right now. Just know that I have read and appreciated your comments, and any suggestions have been taken under advisement.
Okay, so here are some new textures. Left to right: dispenser, noteblock, jukebox, metal-with-carved-runes spawner.
this looks nice. i hope u could make a 128 resolution. keep up the good work
She said she wouldn't... read the beginning post.
"This is NOT a vector pack. Everything in here is 100% hand-drawn pixel art. This means that I can't make a new resolution just by snapping my fingers. So don't ask."

Actually, I don't. The door, trapdoor, rails, ladder, and pistons don't have any visible grain. The only textures where I emphasized the grain are the wood planks and the workbench, and in both of those cases there are large areas that need filling in, ie they don't have a lot of little planks to break up the space. My first go at the door had lots of detailed grain work in every plank. And it looked awful. Trust me, there's a method to the madness here.
Steelfeathers! That note block is genius! I was trying to figure out how I would make a good one (like that) but I couldn't think of ideas so I took some advice and just put a music note on.
Oo, I like that idea. Why haven't I ever thought of that?
Awesome stuff steel... I wish there were some vines or chains round the mob spawner, but thats just my personal preference! Keep it up!
The funny (or not-so-funny) thing about spawners is that any chains and/or vines that go off the edge have to end either exactly in the middle (for all 4 sides) or at the corners. Other wise the vine/chain won't match up between the sides, which is a pain.
Thanks! I'm not completely happy with it, but then again I'm rarely completely happy with anything.
The texture I'm actually the most proud of in this bunch is the dispenser, but it doesn't seem to be going over well.... ^_^;
Pirates! Hurray! I love it! I also love the juke box, ah, it's all amazing!
No no no, it's not pirates! (quickly smoother vfd42 before the idea gets out). It's supposed to be a warning from another adventurer that came before you-- they ventured into a jungle temple and narrowly escaped getting impaled on an arrow, and to warn people about the innocent little block they carved a skull and crossbones into it.
In my honest opinion, the dispenser looks a bit plain. I'm not sure why, but it just does.
Down with highly detailed, over-the-top dispensers!! They're ambush devices, not statement pieces. (See the note above this one about jungle adventurers).
Hey guys made yet again some more tekkit textures
Bluletric Furnace
I decided to make the brick colour lighter to match the light RPG feel. I have 2 options what do you guys like better, with or without bars for the Bluletric Furnace?
Next we have the Solar Panels
And we have the igniter
It took a bit but i also fixed the alloy furnace brick
Please don't change the brick texture again steel
Thanks for all your hard work! It's coming along great so far. A few comments:
-I personally prefer the blue furnace without the grate (#2)
-Solar panels look really cool
-So does the igniter. Really creative re-use of textures.
-The bands of shine on the top of the igniter should all be going in the same direction--- rotate the shine on the vertical metal bars 90 degrees clockwise.
-The basalt still feels like it's either too dark, or like the lighter accents should be lighter. I had to get really close to my screen to see that it wasn't just a flat gray.
-I won't change the brick again. Promise.
Sorry about that, was not in the best of moods when I posted.
Painting with a broad brush/stroke is an expression for making sweeping generalizations. I figured it was the best way to express that on an art forum.
Gotcha. No offense taken or anything. I have a reputation for being a cynical ******* that is well earned.
Steel, did you see my suggestion about the diamond block?
Also, I am forestalling the review seeing as you are doing weekly updates. It would be murder on myself to keep up with you.

Ah, yes I did. I'm not sure a wolf diamond block would fit well with the pack, however. But maybe it would, who knows.
I'm hesitating between two different ideas:
1) Make the diamond block like the iron and gold blocks. Aka, have the ore be a crown or something and turn the block into a carving of a crown.
2) Do something with fancy trim like the emerald block.
Either way, I'm still not sure what diamond artifact to have for the ore, which would then inspire the appearance of the block. Iron is a sword (turns into a shield), gold is a key (turns into crossed keys), emerald will be a dragon scale (turns into a dragon), lapiz will be a broken ceramic jar (turns into ceramic tiles), and diamond will be.....idk.

NOOOoooooooo..... goodbye review, I'll be seeing you in a few months (if ever). :C
oh well, you're probably right. I'd get antsy knowing that I'm going to add new stuff right after you review.
Ive been thinking about this pack and CTM but i have never used CTM before so these are just ideas. Im not sure what is posible and what is not.
Having randomised night skies with constellations or planets
Having randomised spawners using all 3 that you,ve made

Oh, true... I don't know, something about the noteblock just seems off.
Maybe it just looks too dark to me.

I don't know if you've considered this Steel, perhaps it's too obvious, but maybe a diamond ring, broach, or pin? CTM jewelry diamond ore, if it's possible, because since diamond is so rare, it would be somewhat like finding a super rare artifact every once and awhile. I don't know... just kind of, thinking...

I don't think you can have randomized sky boxes. Although that would be cool.
I think rando-spawners would be a bit silly. If anything I'd just have them as alts. (I want all my mystical monster portals to have matching outfits, darn it!!)
EDIT: You need to fix the code for your sig, btw. If you're having trouble, click the little square in the upper left hand corner of the editing box (it's right above the B for bold). That will let you see just the code.

WHY DO YOU WANT SPONGE? NO ONE USES SPONGE. (Except you, apparently :P)
I am an artistic dyslexic insomniac. I lie awake at night thinking about my skcap.
That's 'packs' spelled backwards, btw. No, I'm not crazy.
....
......NO ONE CAN PROVE I DID IT.

Hold your horses, it doesn't exist yet.
