Everything looks great! The only thing I don't like is the Soulsand, it shouldn't be grey.
Ah, that's a loaded thing to say, "it shouldn't be grey." What SHOULD soulsand be, I wonder? To my mind, it should be what I want it to be, and I want it to be silvery. :3
Can you make the redstone lamp soon
I love this texture pack <3
Coming up. I hope to finish the rest of the terrain.png this weekend, but no promises. I do have a lot of homework to do, and who knows if I'll get stuck on a texture (which happens far more frequently than I'd like).
I've always loved your texture packs, not because they are better than the others but because all the textures rolll together SO well. I do alot of buildings with repetitive type styles and I hate it when I put cobblestone in a stone brick wall and it looks so out of place, with your texturepacks however, everything rolls together as if nothing can ever be wrong.
I also love the lack of dithering. Sometimes it is necessary to challenge the traditions of an art style. Dithering in this pack would completely take away from the feel. (except in small cases like the coin pouch on the bookshelf. )
BOO! Down with tradition! It's not like soul sand is an actual substance anyway and even if it was traditional minecraft textures break reality constantly. Last I check pine was a light wood and diamond was not teal.
Also, I am noticing a considerable lack of wolves in this pack. Maybe you could incorporate that into the diamond block somehow.

To me, continuity between textures is one of the most important things in a pack. This is one of the reasons why I discontinued Impressions. The simple fact that Steel can keep the integrity of the style of a pack makes her one of the best texture pack artists out there.

Love the pack Steel. All of your previous ones have shown a great attention to detail and were extremely beautiful; however, I think this one may be my favorite yet. Can't wait to see how you finish up all the other textures for it. Keep up the amazing work... please. :3
42, is it just me or do you almost seem drunk whenever your on this thread? I mean that in a good way. You just seem to let your fan-boy show a bit more here.

HA!
Possibly. It makes me happy to see good texture art for once. This forum has so much half-assed work made by people who can't seem to take criticism that I tend to get cynical. Then I come here or to wayuki's thread and I feel happy.

This is looking really good - it's even reached the stage where fans are providing tekkit support. You've always had one of the most dedicated fanbases, though.
Oh, and the CTM edges on the stone bricks were a very cool idea. I'm glad it's working.

Perhaps you should try painting with a thinner brush.

The reference is lost on me.
I like your work as well btw.

Sorry about that, was not in the best of moods when I posted.
Painting with a broad brush/stroke is an expression for making sweeping generalizations. I figured it was the best way to express that on an art forum.
Ugh. Forums are acting up, so I can't quote/reply to anyone right now. Just know that I have read and appreciated your comments, and any suggestions have been taken under advisement.
Okay, so here are some new textures. Left to right: dispenser, noteblock, jukebox, metal-with-carved-runes spawner.

Pirates! Hurray! I love it! I also love the juke box, ah, it's all amazing!

Pretty awesome . But the dispenser is kind of weird . Love this texture pack <3
I decided to make the brick colour lighter to match the light RPG feel. I have 2 options what do you guys like better, with or without bars for the Bluletric Furnace?
Steelfeathers! That note block is genius! I was trying to figure out how I would make a good one (like that) but I couldn't think of ideas so I took some advice and just put a music note on.

Coming up.
It's just a place-holder at the moment. I haven't decided that I want to do with it yet.
Ore hasn't been changed yet. I've only decided that I want to change it.
Surely not! I know you've seen zillions of other amazing textures from other artists.

I stand corrected. Sort of.
I bring your attention to the famous Spruce Goose. An airplane made almost entirely out of wood. Spruce to be exact. Notice how light it is.
