Reading through the entire thread... My first thought, seeing the "Beta" Glowstone block was that old Monty Python sketch. 'My favorite color is blue. No! Yellow...!'
And now for something completely different...
Steel, I really, really love this pack. SkyChaseZone's newest Tales of Tredonia has a run for its diamonds with this Texture pack.
Good lord I love this new pack you made Steelfeathers! Its incredible! My god its just so appealing to the eye! Great job here! Its just so smooth and loutius (Lutius?)
I'm quite happy with how my Project Table turned out
Although not sure about the ores..... hmm
Looks great! Just one little detail needs fixing on the table-- the dark line you have running down the middle of the roll on either side of the scroll should be the lightest color red there, not the darkest. They're highlights, you see.
Also, I'd suggest making the highlights and light areas on the ore blocks brighter. Shininess is your friend.

You read the whole thread? Wow, talk about dedication.
I have no idea what "SkyChaseZone's newest Tales of Tredonia" is, but I'll take that as a compliment.

im tired while I post this
And is very nice to look at!
I think you're trying to say 'luscious.' And thank you.
Hmm...actually, on second thought, I don't think I'm going to be able to do nice edging on the stone bricks. The pattern isn't carried over onto mossy bricks and cracked bricks (because they're different blocks), so you end up with random vertical dividers in your walls, like so:
No finished edges:
With finished edges:
As you can see, I've also done rando-texures for the cracked brick, too. I've made it so that very rarely you'll find claw marks on the wall, and 1% of the time you can find a mysterious paw print.... though I've never seen a creature with claws like that.... whatever it is, it looks like it eats meat..... o_o
The brick looks fine, but I think the skulls and the thing beside the skulls are a bit too pattern-ized.
That's unavoidable when connecting the bookshelves. You have one texture for the left end, one texture for the right end, and one texture for the middle (which is then repeated over and over again depending on how many bookshelves you place next to each other). So unless I make it just books and nothing else, there's guaranteed to be some repetition. At least it's a lot better than it used to be, haha.
Next, make sure that you title your properties file 'terrainxx.properties.' (make sure it doesn't say 'terrainxx.properties.txt'-- you'll have to rename it manually once it's in the zip file). You replace xx with the number of the terrain block you want to randomize/connect/whatever. (starts at 0)
Also, for horizontal and vertical ctm, you have to arrange your ctm textures in a certain way.
Horizontal: going from left to right-- left end, middle, right end, single block
Vertical: going from left to right-- bottom, middle, top, single block
A nice ctm glass pattern would be cool, but I am absolutely not going to make glass that becomes a perfectly clear plane. I'm not a fan of invisible barriers. It's really disconcerting when my big glass wall looks like an empty hole in the side of my house.
Glad to hear it!
Me too XD i'm always running into walls expecting there to be a door!
I am also really excited to try out the tekkit textures when they're done, because as I said before, SPHAX IS EVERYWHERE

What you could do is keep the normal texture in the normal download, and put just plain books in the simple ores download for those people who don't like the skulls & stuff.

Awesome! Maybe you should add some little dragon faces on the ore blocks. Keep going on
You're doing a great job with RP2 textures! They look really lovely.

Curse PremiumI seriously have no clue.
And also tell me about custom colors like your grass!

First, go stare at this thread. It has most of what you need to know.

Curse PremiumAlso steelfeathers, you shouldn't do 100% transparant CTM glass, but you should atleast make it a little more. Like smaller edges.
Well, just for you...
I am making progress on IC2 textures. Rubber logs, scaffolding, finished nether ores, I changed the uranium to more of a radioactive rod.
What do you think of the machines? The blue-flame furnace is the electric furnace. I thought I would use blue for the higher-tier machines.
