For the lapiz, I think you should put like little, dragons in there, and for our name thing u were saying about, i think for this thread we should be the dragon dancers, or the dancing dragons or something...
Oh, and one more thing before i will probably post another thing today at a much later time, when i look at this pack it looks very... anime-ish so for the equivalent exchange mod, i think we should do sort of a fullmetal alchemist sort of deal, especially for the tablet. If you don't know what that is i highly recommend looking it up, and for the tablet, in google images, look up "transmutation circle" it would be a good base to get ideas for it
I like those bookshelves! But the skull has some jaggies on the back and top. I also am kind of curious on trying this style, I might make one or two tekkit textures.
Heh, I didn't notice the jaggies myself till you pointed it out, now I can't unsee it. Also, I can't wait to see what you produce.

Don't worry, I have a short list of guidelines/colors that I use when texturing that I can PM to anyone wanting to work on mod textures. After I swear you all to secrecy, of course.

Sounds good to me. Let me know when you get a color palette together. One thing that really needs to be hit up is the basalt and marble textures. They are absolutely hideous in the default tekkit.
I like the pattern, but it feels like it's missing something, or like the contrast is off. Any thoughts?
Yep.
I think it needs more contrast and a tad bit of detail to roughen it up. All your neighboring textures in that shot are marred in some way with divots or wood grain. The lapis feels weird to me because it seems to perfect. Also, the low contrast makes it appear flatter than the other textures and conflicts with the lighting theme.

I really love this pack (although I wish you'd update FeatherSong) except for the side-grass. To me, it feels out of place.
Could you make an alternate, more "blades of grass" kind of side-grass?

Feathersong has already been updated for 1.3.2. I'm just concentrating on this pack for now-- I haven't forgotten about it, don't worry. Feathersong and Dragon Dance are my two main packs at the moment.
I personally think the swoopy/cartoony side grass fits very well-- blades would look strange to me. >.<
Also, while normally I would make an alternate anyway, I don't want this pack to be like my others and end up having big customizers. First of all, because I've already maxed out my number of packs on the customizer website (hehe) and there really isn't a better way to easily distribute alternate textures. Secondly, I have a very strong vision for this pack, and I don't want it to get side-tracked by people asking for, oh say, guns instead of bows. Not that blade grass is all that radical, but you get the idea.
Glowstone, ladders, chest and netherbrick. The ladders were really the part that got me. I guess because they get shoved in your face when using them.
Netherbrick is AA'd.... *scratches head*
I'll be sure to do the ladders and chests. Glowstone I want to have nice sharp edges. It would look strange if the crystals blended smoothly into the background.
Improved lapiz. The designs are thicker to get rid of the scrawly line phenomenon that happens with single-pixel-wide lines. (aka, much easier on the eyes from a distance)

Maybe little cracks and the odd speckles, like the Stone Brick?
