Let’s play good guys against bad guys… Yes. Let’s play that. Are you ready? You’re the bad guy. And when you’re bad, you just run. That’s fine right? Well… Shall we play?
My my. after looking at your downloads on pmc i'm....happy.
This pack is awesome and it deserves the attention and...I somehow feel my pack will reach this level soon.
Anyway, as to the discussion of the wool. I personally like it the way it is. It's a nice warm color and it fits the other textures. I think a silver wouldn't work as well with the overall feel of the pack.

At first glance, the only thing I'm not liking is the nether stuff (It's too.... cheery?) and the ores.
And having the biome colors make a larger effect wouldn't hurt, either. I like the style, it's just a tad to bright and happy overall.
The whole pack is cheery, so it would look a bit strange if it went from 'la la, pretty grass and trees' to 'dark, gruesome DEATH.' Or something like that. I also personally like having a faerie-realm type nether-- strange and a bit ominous, but just a tad sparkly. In a way that screams 'don't touch the sparkle, it's a knife!'
As for the ores-- you're in luck! Click on the download link, and you'll find a button that says 'normal ores'. (hint: it's a version of this pack with normal ores)
I agree with you about the biome color. This is being looked at.
Um....thanks? I'm not sure if that's a compliment, though. Because I'm in no way trying to copy/reproduce BD craft (and I personally think, smoothness aside, that they don't look very much alike, but that's another story).

Don't worry, I didn't make it silver. Just a bit less yellow. I'm still mulling over if I like the change or not.
I really had to suppress the urge to make pine a light color. There are so many things that you are "obligated" to do ti keep things recognizable. grrrr.

Don't tell anyone, but I've given up caring what a texture is 'supposed' to look like. I've decided that I'll do what I darn well please with them, and that's the end of it.
In a way I have. I've gotten several comments about my bluish highlights on the stone. But I like it so.
Plus I only have 32 colors to work with and only two grays,
Honestly, hearing that people feel like they need to conform to what it's supposed to look like makes me disappointed. I hate texture packs with simple colors and people who don't feel like they can step outside the box. One of my favorite packs ever (which sadly never made it out of WIP) was completely purple tinted and I adored it.
Why would you rather have something normal, and usual when you can have something unique?
Also, thanks for the response, Steelfeathers, I look forward to seeing the jungle logs. My treehouse is prepared~

It's a frustrating bind that you find yourself in as an artist. Part of making art (a large part) is having others enjoy it as well as yourself. That puts pressure on the artist to make sure that others enjoy it. The trick is balancing the two, your enjoyment and others. I think I have hit that balance fairly well and Steel has with this pack too. Often that means making more than one version of a texture. For me it is completely ignoring critique on stylistic choices. Mainly because I like what I have made, but also because each texture takes about 4 hours for me and I actually have limited resources. I just ran out of my light grey pen.

I can't google search my pack for a 24 hour time frame. Or rather, I won't, because it's somehow been linked on youtube to a bunch of porn videos. Why 'minecraft dragon dance texture pack' should come up with porn I'll never know.
x.x
Anyone know how to block that?
(Don't try it yourself if you're under 18, I'll get in trouble)

It doesn't? It just comes up with your texturepack, even when you search in Google videos! And no, I didn't search that cos I wanted to see porn. =/
Anyway...the new pictures on the front look beautiful! Especially the pumpkin one!
Haha, I saw what you did. That guy just has a huge list of words in the video description so it gets hit when people search for other things in that list. I imagine YouTube has some moderation system that will get rid of it eventually. It's not even good porn, it's just that still image for a minute. BORING AMIRITE!

Heh, It's getting steamy in here....

Yup, anyways, loving the latest update, feathers, everything is looking lovely. I have one small complaint though, the bricks look a little plain compared to other textures in this pack. Even though everything in this pack is rather simple, everything else just has more of a style to it than the bricks do, I just feel like they just aren't up to par with the rest of the pack.
I love this pack. I don't know if this is the place for screenshots, but I wanted to share. The stone is perfect for the kind of structure I'm building!
More under the spoiler:
(Stray double slab is fixed in game, but I didn't see the point in updating the screenshot over something so small.)

Retired StaffIt's in the regular download, but not in the 'normal ores' alt download. I was too lazy to make a new zip after I changed it.

Oh my goodness this is un belivable. You are a god!
Any way in my opinion the stone swords handle looks abit big? either that or the blade is too short.
Thanks for adding more leaves to the saplings looks more natural now.
If you were thinking on what to work on next i think seeing some nice diamond, gold, iron, lapis blocks would be awesome!
