Steel, for one, welcome to the high-res world; secondly, this pack is absolutely beautiful. Your use of color is, as always, genius and the overall feel of the pack is...amazing. This is pixel art right? Because it looks like vector graphics.
*hugs*
Steel, you are awesome.
Now to convince myself that my pack is worth continuing.

Yup, tis good ole fashioned pixel art. Although I should probably learn how to do vector graphics if I ever want to get a job in the industry.
And don't be too down on yourself-- I doubt I could do as well as you're doing if I went the hand-drawn-on-paper route.
Hey Steelfeathers, how are we supposed to drop the newest textures into the pack without unzipping it?
Use 7 zip or winrar to open the zip (which doesn't extract it, only allows you to transfer files in and out), delete the terrain.png inside, and drag in the new terrain.png. Pretty much every texture artist has one of these programs and uses them on a daily basis (they're really quite small and simple), so for the most part I figured it would be obvious how to do it. Sorry for forgetting about the rest of you non-artists.
I was really looking forward to using this, it could maybe even be the next Sphax Pure BDCraft in my opinion, but the ores, you should have an alternate download for an alternate terrain where the ores are just a cool design that looks like the mineral, not a sword or a fossil.
I really need to put up a notice saying that I've already made 'normal ores.'
And I'd really love it if this became the next big thing in 64x like Sphax *crosses fingers*
It's because this one and Sphax are vectorial packs.
Me, I prefer this one.
Hehe, I must be really good if I keep fooling you guys into thinking this is a vector pack! It's just very careful pixel art, btw, although I am going for the vector look.
For any mac-users like myself wondering how to do it:
Go to "Safari" at the top of the screen (right between the apple logo and "File"), go to "Preferences", then, in "General", go and un-check the box that says "Open 'safe' files after downloading".
Then just download the pack, and drag-n-drop the .zip into your texture packs folder.
on Firefox (Still on OSX), when downloaded it gives you a zippes file and an unzipped file
Ah, the memories....although I really only played Sonic and The Lion King. >.<
Best games ever, btw.
Those ****ing giraffes...

The lava just lacks.... I don't know what. It looks good, but I hate it. Meh.
Bigger bubbles would probably make it look better.
Well I don't know about the lava, but I feel like I need to tell you how much I love the lily pad and sugar cane texture. I just need to have those all of my room, and house, and everywhere I go. Also the iron door. How many colors did you use on the iron door?

5. If you don't count the in-between shades used for AA.
But the really impressive one is obsidian, for which I only used 3 colors. ^^

Good idea. I shall try that.

Curse PremiumThis is the best texturepack I have ever seen.
Now how will I possibly compete? How will anybody possibly compete?
Oh well.
I guess I'll have to use this.
Forever.
And ever.

Retired StaffSince there's no button to press, I'll just leave this here...
First one's of an old airship of mine
Other two are random builds i found on PMC
Any chance of making that a 2? You know, it probably needs to be 3, or 4.
The water-recolor works great for lava.

Retired StaffYay, pics! And that is one seriously humungo airship. Nice work.
I might change it later on (especially flowing lava), but I'm glad that there don't seem to be any major complaints about it. ^^;
