For whatever reason, texture packs sometimes freak out and refuse to work after being unzipped and rezipped. See if you can find the setting that automatically unzips it and turn it off.
Just tried it
It worked! Thanks, Steelfeathers!
For any mac-users like myself wondering how to do it:
Go to "Safari" at the top of the screen (right between the apple logo and "File"), go to "Preferences", then, in "General", go and un-check the box that says "Open 'safe' files after downloading".
Then just download the pack, and drag-n-drop the .zip into your texture packs folder.
I love the obsidian, but it seems to further the complaint about underdetailed stone. Could you at least see what it looks like with a small bit of lighting?
Or perhaps just a darker color within the darker grey?
I think that would work nicely..

Looking back on it, the Redstone Ore looks more like someone stuck a paper Skeleton onto some
stone. It doesn't look as embedded into the stone compared to the other ores
I was really looking forward to using this, it could maybe even be the next Sphax Pure BDCraft in my opinion, but the ores, you should have an alternate download for an alternate terrain where the ores are just a cool design that looks like the mineral, not a sword or a fossil.

Retired StaffI'm not entirely sold on the lava at the moment-- it doesn't feel stylized and cartoony enough to me. Any suggestions on a lava design?
Perhaps make the 'bubbles' larger like in the water?
