Just stopping by to let you guys know I'm still working and haven't given up on you. The problem right now is that I have very little time, and since I am nearing the end of the journey a lot of the consistency problems I set aside earlier and new ones are starting to rise to the top, and so every time I get time set aside I have to try to deal with them. I'll keep at it though. There is new stuff I haven't shown you yet and I have ideas on a few things that I will try when I get home.

Yeah, that's true. I just hate that to make it all fit I've had to use such far-fetched ideas. :\ The acid can't really work since leather makes armor as well (and I really wanted normal-ish clothes for it). Thanks for the help though

Yeah, I am definetely doing what he is saying. I thought I replied saying that, but I must have forgot >.<

Anyway, good thing is that there were only a few things like the cactus that didn't match up, a lot of the stuff you get dyes from haven't been done yet so I can design them with that in mind. (for example: I am making new flowers now and the yellow/red dye will make sense).

I underestimated how many paintings I had left. It's about 4 or 5 now, but they are the larger ones and they are taking quite a bit of thought to come up with. Also I have made new glowstone blocks and a space block for sponge that can be used to make adventure maps or space creative builds. Right now I am in the process of making a cool orange plasma/glow-y block for lapis that can be used for the ship's engine core and things like that. I am avoiding putting pictures up because A) I really don't have too much time with the little time I have to even work on this, and B : I want the sheer amount of stuff to be that more surprising. Rest assured, I am putting forth my full effort and the next update will be the biggest to EVER be released for this pack. Good things to come

The paintings are done and they look great, but it is such a pain to get the one you want down. I've seen several mods that allow you to choose but they are all out of date. Does anyone know of any mods that allow you to cycle through or choose paintings from a gui? I can link it near the download as a recommended mod.

Added some new stuff the codex today. Some of it is stuff you've seen that I should have added a long time ago, and some of it is new stuff you have never seen before. Anyway this is one of the things I said I would do before the update and its done, so you can guess how close it is. I left out codex entries for Fruit and Food because I think they would work better as combination pages, and I haven't finished all of those.

I have a few pieces of food to finish, and I decided to change steak into a burger. After that I'll finish fruit and from theres its just a couple of odds and ends before the release. Don't expect much of anything over the weekend, though.

Any ideas on the book that floats above the enchanting table? I can easily get rid of it, but I wanted to make sure there isn't anything I can do with it first.

Haven't seen your texture of it yet (if you've done one) but maybe you could make it look like some sort of hologram?

Yeah I expected that was to the way to go with it, but I my question was more about what type of hologram it should be. Should I just do a holographic book, or is there something else someone can think of? Or should I just take it out altogether?

Also, no I haven't shown the enchanting table it's something I started working on yesterday but I'll go ahead and post a WIP screenshot:



As you can see it's a pretty simple design, it has an Artifact embedded in it since that is one of the crafting recipes (on the top, you can't really see it because of lack of AA). To make it make sense the enchanting table is an Augmentation Station, a place to upgrade weapons and tools like the upgrade bench in Dead Space. I imagine it as a place where you would exchange scopes and mags on blasters, but obviously the game limits it to putting specific enchantments on a weapon. The top of the enchanting table isn't finished yet so I'll do that today. Then it will be the book holding that specific texture up.

Uploading version 3.0 tomorrow. I've finished the update itself, I'm just preparing the forum stuff. Be sure to check in some time tomorrow!

Phew! That's probably the longest I've worked on an update, but it was worth it. This if by far the biggest update yet, and a big leap towards finishing this project!

P.S: My codex links keep breaking, and just saying "Posted Image". Does anyone know why this is?

Thanks It was pretty hard to find out the right style to do them, I went through several iterations. I plan on animating each one for the next update.

Sure, I'll be happy to assist. I just tested the link on several different computers and it seems to be working fine. I've also had several downloads today on adf.ly, so outside of my connection it seems to be working as well. Could you tell me exactly what's going wrong?

As far as adfly, i checked my settings and i am set to accept cookies, and i have also used adfly before on this computer, and havent changed or altered my settings.

I hope this helps. I really REALLY want your texture pack lol.

EDIT: Nevermind all that. there is something wrong with my firefox. I tried downloading it with google chrome and it works. Yet another strike against firefox. Used to be my fav browser...

I still cant get the HD fix link, so you should take a look at that. -BUT-
Can i just use the latest MC patcher or does it have to be the suggested hd fix?

I could be using an outdated link; I'll check into it when I have more time. Yes, you should use the latest version of McPatcher. I look forward to hearing what comes of your space station.

Here's a little preview for what's coming up in the next update. The next update will focus primarily on armor. I've already finished Iron, and I've started on Gold. In this picture the pants weren't done yet, but maybe it's better that I don't show you everything just yet > . I am using the normal steve skin to show you the armor. Notice I opted to go for seperate piece strapped to the player, instead of a large air-tight suit. I found that the suit looks a little to bulky to be used for every armor type, and that since the armor wasn't designed to be long-sleeved it overlaps a lot if you do it that way.

EDIT: In case you can't tell, this is iron (Andranite) armor. Armor will correspond with it's color scheme. (Gold will be white with red lights; Diamond Red with Orange Lights)
