Uh...I think I'm gonna change the Vannix armor color from blue to a red color because I needed a visor color for the military that goes with their green (the only other color that fits is orange and then it looks to halo-ish). So I'm making the visor a bright blue and I'll change the Vannix (skeletons) to a dark red. Then it'll be time to think of what to do for endermen and creepers....
Your texture pack, before I begin, is easily one of the best I've seen... If not *the* best!
Ok, I don't know much in terms of textures, but lore-wise, I had a few Ideas concerning Ender-men:
Semi-robotic (possibility only) (ie. Modified themselves with nano-tech, etc until they lost their minds.) This could explain their behaviour in relation to picking up blocks. (Do they still do that?)
Maybe their modifications run off a power source like the alien artifacts... Also, could be a possibility that they are the remnants of the alien race who supposedly created the artifacts...
Creepers could, maybe, be created by the aforementioned alien race to seek out lost artifacts before they lost their minds...
(Which could possibly hark back to the myth that creepers are attracted to diamonds/Alien artifacts...)
I appreciate this may not be what you're looking for, but hopefully, it will help you along... Name-wise, for the Ender-men, I came up with a few possibilities:
Morians (More-ee-ans)
Void-walkers (could possibly relate to Space-rift style teleportation)
Phagians (fayj-ans)
The Teraphage (Teh-rah-fayj)
Symbiocians (Sim-Bi-oh-Shans)
Machino-sapiens
Ji'Gray'aks (Jih-Grey-ax)
I appreciate a few of these are pretty lame, but I have attempted to include a minor scientific meaning in a few...
Hope this assists you, and I look forward to your future additions!
P.S: maybe the un-named ore -Gold, I think- could be named: "AUTRITE" (Ore-tr-ite)
P.P.S: I appreciate that our visions of this pack will differ and I don't expect you to like all of my suggestions, or even any of them, and they're merely suggestions (Use them, if you want, by all means!)
Okay let me start off by saying these are some fantastic suggestions.
Highly Advanced Alien Race - Perhaps even the Makers (that built Elios IV) themselves? I'll keep this one in mind. I think this is what I had in mind to begin with.
Semi-Robotic - Hmmm I like this idea too although I'd have to try and make them cybernetic looking to distance their appearance from the Vannix.
Modifications Run off Power Source - Yeah maybe a combination of this and the first idea....they were not advanced but found the artifacts which ended up making them the most advanced in the galaxy.
As for the names, these are fantastic. I think I want to pick one that doesn't sound like a species (I have quite a few of those already). In particular I like "The Teraphage" and "Void-walkers". Although we might need a new suffix for void-walkers because thats a companion in World of Warcraft . But if we go that route and pick #3 of your suggestions we can say "The Void" is the end, and its a sort of super-advanced mystical hideout created by The Makers that the Void-walkers discovered when they stole all the remnants of their technology.
As for the suggestion for the name of gold, it can be a little hard to annunciate.
All-in-all, great suggestions! I'll be using plenty of these.
Made a texture pack review, if you like it. we would really appreciate you adding it to the original post.
Thanks for the video, just keep in mind that stuff isn't changed because I haven't got to it yet. Everything will be changed when I'm finished I'm going to add a new section for videos sometime today. You also forgot to look at all the weapons and tools
So everything in the world just clicked. I was having a problem that I wanted fortresses and such to look all alien in nature...BUT stone brick was the militarized commonite. The only solution I could think of at the time was to make it Iron, then make stone bricks alien. Sadly, this meant no more military steps (which makes making those awesome tanks nigh impossible). But with the newfound idea that Zombie Pigmen will me military on the moon, I suddenly had an amazing idea to make Nether Brick into the military block. So now on the moon (nether) nether fortresses will be military bases. Then I got worried you might be able to make Nether Brick out of netherrack, but you can't. Yay!
Phew...back to work. Right now I'm working on the zombie pigmen (marine type guy, looks awesome). Too bad you can't see it till the nether update...but you can see the zombified version I am doing once I finish this.
How can I make this better? The part under the armor that is? I'm still not entirely sure what I wanted it to look like. Suggestions? I'm stuck on this, that's why I haven't added it in a couple of days.

The zombies are marines infected by the Xio'geni parasite. I actually have it drawn attached to their back, but I can't take a picture right now I'm at the wrong computer. I was just asking what the skin should look like when they get infected.

So, that means if the Xio'geni parasite is not attached to them, the "virus" won't work on the marine anymore? If so, that would be a reason for them to be attached, because if the virus acts by itself, the parasite wouldn't need to be on the host, giving it other possibilities to infect other creatures.
No need for the armor to be so decreased like that, would make more sense if the armor was still good. But where the "virus" acts with more accuracy? Head, eyes, limbs, even the brain itself. Tell me if you can. =)

Eh, theres no virus. I just keep saying infected for lack of a better word. The parasite attaches to its host (usually human military) via their back where they connect with the nervous tissue. Once the parasite attaches to its host the brain deteriates and only the basic motor functions survive, as well as the newfound hunger for human flesh. Should the parasite ever be removed, host will die. So maybe its symbiotic in a way.
Oh, also, the Vannix control the parasite through some sort of nano-technology. This is why silverfish and zombies don't attack other mobs. They were originally a defense mechanism to stop people from messing with the inner works of Elios IV, but the Vannix used their nanomites to control their brain-functions. However this control is limited to simply choosing a target. They were able to do this because the Vannix discovered Elios IV about two months before the humans did, so they got a head start with all of this. This is why they are all over the place, especially in dungeons which were originally Maker war rooms.
I think that's everything I got I hope that explains it. The armor thing was just to give it a visible effect so you know what you are fighting. Maybe the silverfish have some form of acidic liquid that they use to melt sections of the armor to attach?
firstly i did actually quickly look trough all your pages but dident find anyone else having my problem, all i found was awsome sci fi, the link only gets mi to the homepage, exactly where would the download be -.-' think it might be because i had to log in.. and lastly, people will always ask how to download ur pack, mc patcher problems download link problems and stuff. and as a creator of this pack u should probably help em, not just because u help people in need off help but also because these people just want to enjoy your pack.so sorry for asking... and oh just use mediafie -.-
I don't mind helping people I just thought you were asking the exact same question I have answered already. I've helped everyone who has asked for it. Are you sure you are following the right link? I have tested it both logged in and out on a few computers and its working fine. Tell me exactly what you click and exactly what happens. Usually it makes you sign in if I forget to make the file public (which I have done one time) but I quickly cleared that up in a few minutes. I double checked anyway and the file is public.

Thank you for the information. =)
Alright, now I got the idea. Are you making different textures for the same mob? Or just one? The armor can be decreased like that, if you still want it, but could you make it more dirtier or rusty? (if it isn't already)
Sorry for don't coming up with a lot of ideas on this comment, they just dissapeared..

For starters I'm going to have one. I want to finish the inital version of the mobs first, then afterward I'll go back and add Randomobs support. Also, I can see about adding some scratches and burn damage and stuff like that. Did you have any thoughts for the creeper? What did you think of the new endermen?
well, i press the adfly link, ofc , i get to the google drive homepage. it tells me how great google drive is and that i get 5 gb free. and... i guess my first comment didnt really explain my problem
I honestly have no idea what to tell you. I tried a couple more times on a few different browsers to recreate the proble, but no success. Use the direct link if you haven't already. Anyone else having problems?
Just checked in to see if something new is added. WOW I really like the void wanderers great job! Alltbought I dint think I can say the same about the troopers. In my opinion some shading is missing on the forhead . But it may be just me, will wait to see how it looks in game.
Glad you like them. I'll take into consideration your thoughts on the Vannix. The problem is I didn't have enough detail in the helmet to shade. I will probably redo it.
Alright guys, I'm ready to get to work on the last mob. Who has ideas for the creepers?
I'm not giving any name suggestion because I'm really terrible at doing that. The Creepers could be a secret plan that the Vannix's troop had to any sudden attack or for any interruption that could happen during their research on Elios IV, using them as a last solution. But with years of development into these creatures, they found out that gunpowder could be added in the self reaction system, causing them to explode near any other creature. Their silence is one of the most dangerous aspect on these creatures.
Their skin could be: Darker green, white, gray or black. Anything that could fit for them to be hard to get noticed.
My goodness, I just clicked this thread and I am already blown away with the freshness of this pack! Beyond awesome work, my friend.
As for the creeper idea, Have you ever played Halo? The Flood have those bulgy carrier things that explode and drop the parasites. Maybe base Creepers off of that?
NM Mods I made a new post and it combined it with this one and it's working so let it be...sorry!
Okay so, I tried to reply to you guys, but the forums are being buggy and my quotes are messing up and stuff. Pretty sure the post I made above is bugged so I'm requesting it to be deleted.
Anyways.
RjNext:
Good idea, but a sneaking creature isn't the best way to stop them from hindering their research.
ToaCzar:
Of course I have This idea might work and fit in a little better with what I've got.
EDIT: Though the purpose of the flood exploding was to spread the little crawly flood to everyone. Exploding yourself and the host seems counter-productive.
Sorry for the lack of news and updates, guys. I had to get several shots and I'm not feeling very well. As soon as this passes I'll be back to work. See you soon!

Curse PremiumThese "how do I download?" posts are getting extremely annoying. I have it bolded with three stars next to it saying to press "File > Download"...
