Although I won't necessarily use it, other than giving a short review on it, it is overall and fantastically made texture pack and receives multiple 's for going out of the box and creating this piece. 10/10
Pro's :
Consistency between blocks
Good colors (at least for an alien wasteland type deal)
Going out of the box
Amazing setup of the forum topic (A big + for me)
Con's : Honestly, there are view things that bug me about this pack. There are little to no bugs that I can see, so +1
Conclusion - This is a MUST HAVE for any sci-fi fans out there, at times, it can be a fearful mining experience that can make you jump out of your seat. Keep going with this! Keep up the hard work.

Wow thats a great review....thanks! And yeah, I went through a lot to get the forum setup looking really cool. I'm carefully crafting a scifi universe that is able to fit within this texture pack. My hope is that scifi fans will flock to my pack and start making cool adventure maps and whatnot. When I complete this pack and release the language pack, Minecraft should feel like a whole new game! Thanks for taking the time to review.
You did a great job on the main post, and the textures look pretty amazing. Other than saying how good it looks I can’t really give you any other support (In regards to ideas), so sorry about that, but once again, amazing job.
No problem, support is always appreciated. Honestly just the fact that so many people commented today with positive feedback has been enough to motivate me a lot more. So thanks
The chainsaws are animated if you have custom animations on in mcpatcher or optifine. Equipment section updated. Ill be adding more to it later but I had something to do and I figured I might as well release the newest version. Let me know what you think!
EDIT: I forgot to make the download public...silly me. It should be fixed now. Sorry 'bout that!
I'm aware of the floating pixel on the iron hoe and I'm also aware the iron sword is a wierd spiky spear (I changed this but uploaded the wrong version >.<). Anyway these two will be fixed in the new version. If anybody else spots graphical errors or anything let me know and I'll be sure to fix it. Overall though I'm proud of this update...I mean, animated chainsaws and that gun for the bow!? I can't believe I got that to work!
Also I'll take suggestions for what should be in the next update. It won't be themed like the last two...I'm just sorta throwing random things in.
Alrighty so I was thinking for a while how to make the bow make more sense...I already had sticks as metal rods but I had to think of something for string. I decided on Copper Wire, so that means spiders are gonna have to be robots. Anyone have any ideas for what coal should be?
since it's a fuel source.... energon/dilithium crystals? lol
You are on the right track with fuel source...although I'd rather not use something that specific. I'm trying to think of a generic scifi fuel source. I've been thinking about using Dark Matter but it seems like something that would be rare and coal is very abundant.
Really great work with the tools and weapons. I really enjoy the bow and the saws as much as anything else in your pack. You have done a great job so far, original and just... amazing!
One thing I spotted and I do not think it has been reported yet, there are floating pixels above the grass. I had the same weird pixel alien attacking my pack at the exact same spot >:[
Get him before something happens! D:
Alright I found the problem, thanks for the heads up. Fixed in the next version.
Everybody keep in mind none of this is final. For instance the block I originally had as mossy cobble makes jungle temples hideous, so it needs to be changed. Also, stone bricks as the militarized commonite might have to change because all forms of stone bricks are used very frequently in Strongholds and I wanted them to have a an ancient alien look to them. I also wanted to have steps for the militarized cobble (it makes making tanks easier) though I may have to remove the brick steps as furniture idea.
No new update today guys....I did do a cool thing and make books datapads, and I animated it so that text scrolls by. However I'd rather not release an update with one change and I'm struggling trying to think of what to do with the rest of the blocks and items. I may move on to mobs (which will let me texture a lot of the meats), but I'm going to need some ideas from the community. Any initial thoughts?
Since you fire a "disc" from the Plasma Thrower which is currently made from feathers, flint and a metal rod in the texture pack you could try to finish the items and the specific mobs/blocks they come from.
Wood is already finished so only gravel and the chicken are left. Since you use a different style for texturing I'll leave the gravel to you or others who have got ideas.
All though my suggestion for the chicken is to make it a drone/robot/droid mainly a technological machine used to explore and spy in the past. Now they continue their purpose without being controlled because the ones controlling them lost signal because of a radioactive mass surrounding the planet( the mass could be clouds in minecraft).
The eggs they drop could be some kind of mass or a bottle with fluid inside containing the information they collected.
After not being brought back or collected the droids(I'll call them like that for now) maulfunction and start dropping information instead of keeping it.
The feathers could be a fuel source that in contact with a materia in the Plasma Thrower creates a reaction that gives the disc the power and thrust to be launched.
My suggestion for their texture is to remove the legs so it looks like they're floating or flying above the ground, re texture the face/nose into a some kind of scanner and the body into a machine. the bottom part could contain an opening they use to fly and drop the information
Hope you liked my ideas.
Also a few GUI's for the crafting table and the furnace would be nice since their textures in the terrain.png are finished :]
Will be waiting for the next update, keep up the good work!
Gravel is going to be some sort of rock that holds plasma. String is copper wire, so bows are taken care of. This makes the spider some sort of robot. Like you said all that is left is the feather. I may go with part of this idea. I can call chickens a "Targeting Drone" and the feather can be a "Targeting Array" or something similar. The problem with making chickens a robot is they also drop food, which must be consumed.

EDIT: Talking with friends we devised that Zombies will have a parasite on their back (thats why they don't use weapons). The silverfish will be the parasite. So:
Zombie: Alien infected by parasite by skeletons
Silverfish: Parasite
Skeleton: Normal Alien with Gun
Spider: Robot (so it can drop copper wire for bows)
Zombie Pigmen: The parasite aliens but pre-infection
That leaves Endermen, Creepers, and all the passive mobs. The next update won't be for a while, I'm going to have every single mob in it.
Very cool texturepack, dude. Although, I admit the fuel description bugs me a bit: dark matter just doesn't fit as fuel in my mind. Maybe the 'coal' is evidence of an even older, more advanced race: "Careful study of Elios IV's regolith and surface matter has revealed the presence of billions of dormant nanotech machines. Although apparently non-functional, their power sources are still potent enough to provide a viable source of energy, although in most samples they do not occur densely enough to be useful"
"Higher density" deposits could perhaps appear as silvery nodules in the rock, like if floating mercury droplets were solidified in place and encased in stone.
Good luck with the texture works, dude
