Please update pack to version 1.4.* Currently i get error "out of index range" if attempt load it in 1.4.5 client with optifine.
I've been having McPatcher problems but I assumed it was coincidence. I may be wrong, but I am pretty sure texture packs are unable of causing errors like this since they don't contain any code.

As i understand oftifine HD support have some code that attempt detect resolution for each texture file or something like, and maybe some bug triggered in this code. Also as i know any old textures packs mob textures anyway broken at 1.3.2 -> 1.4.x (in result heads adding?).

I knew about the mob update thing. I have yet to change it, because I thought it was an inconvienence better resolved in the upcoming mob update, but if it is causing mcpatcher and optifine to bug out I will fix it for the next update this friday.
First off, I fixed the zombie texture so any hd texture pack fix errors should be fixed.
I got almost everything I wanted accomplished for this one. The only thing I couldn't put in yet was the pumpkin (jackolantern needs to be a helmet/computer for golems so I am confused). This was one of the hardest updates so far because my outline style works very good for metals but didn't work so well on organic stuff like plants. Once I got that sorted though, it was smooth sailing.
You'll also notice the new grass and dirt. I am satisfied with this for the first time so this will probably be final (except grass color).
3.4 version still crash for me in 1.4.5 with same error.
I see in donload soem HD Fix link
But it broken for me also.
Hmmm that must not have been it. The only thing I can thing of is one of the mcpatcher mods must have been update and so the older packs broke. I'll look into it, and start taking mcpatcher stuff out piece by piece until it works.
Any must haves for this friday's update? I'll take suggestions. (It can't be anything that's going to be released in a future themed update, just some of the miscellaneous stuff you'd prefer sooner rather than later).
I came here to post an update, but I realized I have been posting these a week early...oops. Well, I guess you'll have to wait till next week ;). On the bright side that gives me a week to make this small update twice as big.
The next update is pretty random, and its nothing major, but it adds some essential stuff like signs and better icons for the doors. Plus sugar, bones and other stuff like that. I started a survival game and I played for a long time before I ran into something untextured. Is there anything (that isn't included in a themed update later) that you would like to see sooner rather than later? I have no problem texturing it.
There you have it, this friday's update. A small update, but an update nonetheless. This marks the end of the misc updates, from now on they will have themes. For example:
NEXT WEEK'S UPDATE: Transportation Update (December 21) – New Rails, Minecart, Boat, etc. Also includes compass and clock.
GUI Update (January 18) – Completely redesigned GUI and title screen. Also launches Codex 2.0, which fits the style of the gui
Mob Update 3 (February 1) - Any and all mobs that have yet to be completed, including: sheep, enderdragon, ocelots, etc.
Nether and End Environment Update (February 8)- Blocks pertaining to the End and Nether.
Environment Update (February 22) - Water, leaves, lighting; everything that makes up the minecraft biomes
RELEASE/FINAL UPDATE (March 1) – Finalizing rough textures, finishing leftovers, and adding the language pack.________________________*All lore is temporary until release and is subject to drastic change*
The new item icons look good, and I like the change in the birch planks. They fit in better now, beforehand they kind of stuck out in most builds. The raised railing-like top of the flower pots looks odd when viewed from above, but its not too bad. It just takes some getting used to.
Overall great stuff. I can't wait for the transportation update.

Thanks for all the feedback. The whole flower pot thing ended up like that because flower pots loop part of the texture over on itself (since vanilla flower pots are solid orange with noise). Since my flower pot had a shine on it, I had to try some wierd stuff to get it to tile correctly.

I'll look into it. I still am not sure how a texture pack crashes mc. It seems like the only thing that could do that is issues like memory allocation or something like that (and I'm an artist not a programmer, so I'm not very knowledgable in that area).

EDIT:
I just realized you meant the link to mcpatcher was broken, not that the pack was broken with it. I just tested minecraft with this, and it works. I'm not sure why it wouldn't work on optifine, but it it works with this and not optifine then its optifine that is bugged.

I have my eyes on this topic!
