EDIT: I apologize, I had no idea that there were so many better default packs already. I probably should have looked into that before creating the texture pack. Sorry for wasting your time.

Are you tired of texture packs, but minecraft's default look disgusts you?
Are you doing a let's play series and don't want to stare at that ugly default your fans love so much?
Or are you just browsing for new texture packs?

Pretty Vanilla is a type of variation of the default look of minecraft but fixed up a bit.
This texture pack includes a few features:
-Redesigned Grass and Dirt Textures
-Unicolor Wool Blocks
-Smoother Wooden Planks
-Smoother Leaves
-Softer Sand and Gravel
-Optional Tool replacements
-Painterly Texture Pack Armour
-True Seamless Glass
An HD Texture Pack Patcher may be used, but is NOT needed!
I for one, completely disagree with this. It's not at all about being lazy, it's about taste. Some people like the vanilla textures except for certain blocks and Items. (I count myself as one of those) Others may want to make a texture pack their own but stay true to the original theme. I think it's you guys who do not get it. If you don't like it, ignore it, or give some constructive criticism. Simple as that. No need to be rude.

Meh. I'm not incredibly impressed because it is essentially just a slightly edited default, but it does make the game seem softer on the eyes. I'm just not okay with the wool because it is just monotoned blocks.
I understand if you maybe wanted to use this for your own enjoyment due to the fact that it changes the stuff according to your tastes but, PLEASE, PLEASE, WE HAVE SO MANY OF THESE DEFAULT EDITS. I BEG YOU ON MY KNEES TO KEEP THEM TO YOURSELF. Also, your gold and diamond tools burned my eyes out that is all
I still say that default edits are not a bad thing and those who agree aren't just going to stop posting them, but maybe a solution would be to make separate forum sections for custom textures and vanilla edits?
Well this is a good first starter mine was like this too xD but look at other textures and get inspired! Theres so many other texture packs like yours and everyone is just sick of it! But good first try

Encourage? I thought you were supposed to give criticism, not sugar-coat all your comments.
So, lets see, you did a bunch of recolors, bucketfilled the wool, took the paintery armor, did some minor edits on like 4 textures and called it a pack?
Again, posting a default edit and expecting people to tell you it's an awesome pack is not gonna happen. This takes no effort, anyone with GIMP or PAINT.net could do this.

They should make one thread and post there better default texture packs there it saves a lot of memory space in here.
