I have the mod SimpleOres, and the texture pack Auracraft. The SimpleOres ores are made for he Default pack. I took the stone background from Auracraft and I edited that into the SimpleOres textures file. I then added minerals that are the same color onto the stone, and I have made SimpleOre's ores into an Auracraft look. If you have this mod and texturepack, I recomend you get this file, as it makes the ores fit into your minecraft world.
1. Download from Mediafire via adf.ly
2. Click the start button
3. Click "Run" (or "Start Search") and type '%appdata%'
4. Go into the ".minecraft" file
5. Go into the "bin" file.
6. Open up the "minecraft.jar" with WinRar or 7-Zip
7. Go into the "SimpleOres" file.
8. Delete the current terrain (terrain.png)
9. Place the downloaded terrain you downloaded in the SimpleOres file.
10. Play minecraft!
NOTES!! (READ FIRST)
1. All the files and names DO NOT have apostrophes.
2. Back up your .minecraft
3. For this to work, you must have the SimpleOres mod installed and done correctly.
4. This will look out of place if you do not have the Auracraft texturepack. That is what it is made from.
5. I assume you already have 7-Zip or WinRar because you already have installed SimpleOres.
6. I also assume you have delted META-INF. I DID NOT MAKE THE MOD OR THE TEXTURE PACK. I ONLY EDITED THE ORES.

I may or may not play GT. I also might be playing it with TiC. Some Metallurgy and ExtraTiC could be in the mix too. I might have also dropped in some TE as well. Some AE and BC could possibly be on the list. And I maybe- just maybe - there's NEI to assist in short-term memory loss that I may or may not have.

I am thinking you got permission to distribute this pack from the creator of "[size=medium]Auracraft"[/size]. If not, that is also illegal.
I only edited the ores. They are the only thing that is different. Every other texture is the same. If you get them both and look at them, there is not a pixel different in the solid blocks or armour, just the ores.

The best way to think of it is as an add-on for a texture pack, that supports a certain mod. In this case it is for my SimpleOres mod. I have a whole thread of alternate textures for my mods, which you can see HERE. There is nothing illegal about making such add-ons, as long as you follow a few simple rules:
1. You give credit to both the mod maker (for making the mod), and the texture pack owner (for making the texture pack). Full credit must be given where it is due.
2. You do not attach an adfly link to the addon. You are using someone else's base textures and editing them only slightly. You do not have the right to make any income off that.
This means you are in violation of the second rule, so you must remove the adfly link.
To anyone still confused, what this 'add-on' does is changes the texture of the blocks added by my SimpleOres. For example, this is the default copper texture, which I created, based on the default Minecraft textures:

This is done so that the textures used by the mod can fit the style of the texture pack. In this case, Auracraft.

Download the texture pack add-on for whichever mod/s of mine you are using.
Unzip above texture pack add-on.
Copy all the folders that you just unzipped into the zip file of the ACTUAL texture pack.
As such, in order to fit these instructions, could you please create a folder called "SimpleOres" (without the quotations, place your terrain.png inside of that folder, and then zip the folder up. That should then be uploaded and linked to as the file you want people to download.
