Neocraft is a new Minecraft texture pack inspired by OCD, Tyko, Mario, and other simple texture packs. It aims to be simple, but cartoony at the same time. Everything is squared and outlined in black. This texture pack is not done and is a work in progress.
The things currently completed are:
-Terrain
-Font
-Particles
-Main Menu
I'm impressed, it isn't a simplified default. But, GET RID OF THE BLACK LINES!!!!! maybe just have the lines be a darker shade of the color of the block it is on.

The black line gives it a cartoony look, based from tyko. I don't plan to remove them, maybe i'll make another version without the black lines
The thing about outlines in cartoons is that they outline the edge of an object to simulate contrast and create depth.
With minecraft texture packs however, they only serve to make the world look like a very poorly made Tron, because the lines are everywhere. There are no edges on a flat sand dune, or on the wall of a house.
Aside from the lines, some of the textures are bucket fills, which I assume is a result of it being a WIP, so that's no so bad.
but yeah, lined texture packs just don't work. If you want lines on objects that stick out or would otherwise have their own edges (ferns, grass, lili-pads, vines, etc) I could see that working, Or maybe having black lines between bricks and wood in those textures, but to have it around every block just doesn't work.
I hate to be rude, but it looks like you took more time on the forum post than the pack itself.
2 post is consider me working harder on posting rather then the texture pack? From the comments above about the black lines, I would suggest you use some kind of antialiasing mod such as optifine to smooth it out. I appreciate everyone comments and I will consider removing the black outline
I'm only just now seeing the black outline on the water.
If you keep the black outlines (or decide to have a version with and without it) then at least remove the lines from the water and lava, at least when they're flowing.
I actually really like this. I kinda like the black lines. I just think the flowing water and lava needs something done to it, and the tall grass is kinda... i don't know, weird. Other than that, i really like this. I'm interested to see what you do with the tools.

My suggestion is to make the dark lines on the border just a shade of black over the actual texture.
...But that's just my opinion.
My DeviantART, requests welcome.
