We have just recently realesed a new texture pack to our gallery. This one is called DerangedFury. It is a bit strange if you don't think about the theme. It takes a while to get used to. But still overly good, not HD.
It needs MCPatcher for the fire, water and lava to be custom. If this ticks youu off, fine have the boring old lava fire and water.

You do NOT make a bucket fill and call it a texture pack, especially when you have (slightly) more detailed textures next to said bucket fills.
Not to mention, this looks inconsistent and ugly.

It's stuff like this that makes me wish adf.ly was banned.

I think you need to give it up or put HEAPS of work into learning to be decent. You'r company can't be doing to well eh.

FYI: There is no "bucket fills" in this texture pack. Everything was made with effort and it took us weeks to make.
The items you should totally check out if you didn't like my terrain. The items, armour and everything else, is raw effort. This does not mean that the terrain.png isn't raw effort.
Here's some advice from me: Check EVERYTHING in the texture pack before you comment on how good/bad it is.

Baludran, you need to attempt to make an actual texture pack, I viewed your profile and you have only posted two topics in total. Neither of them texture packs. You actually posted something nice. Don't post until you know the experience of making a texture pack.

Balduran can judge a pack from a mile off and she's right every time. And that's a low remark, taking the grammar route; either take criticism with a positive attitude or don't post here.

I am taking in the criticism in a positive attitude as well. I have been researching and am trying to make a HD pack.

There is a difference between just changing 1 file and changing ALL of the textures. We change ALL of the textures, not just one and since you are the texture pack guru, why don't you make your own texture pack? We are only new and will improve over time.

You must be a guru if you know everything? Right? Because from what I see you are the best at texture packs and never messed up. Or just started. No, you just started making really good texture packs. Thats why you must be a guru because you know everything and seem to be the best aswell.

You know, most texture pack artists take MONTHS to make their texture packs. This texture pack doesn't make sense whatsoever, signs are red? Dafuq? If you want people to like it, make a DETAILED texture pack, not a simple, non-realistic one. But if you DO want to make a simple one, I suggest making it defined and realistic?

Thank you for your suggestion, we understand it entirely. But what we are afraid of, is that we will put months of work into a pack, then, minecraft will update and our pack will be completely useless. We are currently making a PHOTO REALISM texture pack. We aren't stealing LB's thunder either. We just mean that we will take photos of real life materials and chuck them in our textures. The max pixel rating of this is 64x64. Thank you all for your opinions on this matter. Oh and also, we did not aim for the virtual reality feel of minecraft. Some people have imaginations and want to spread those imaginations. Not everything has to be completely real, does it? Just think, what would happen if we made our spiders look 100% hyperbole real? We'd get discriminated for it, most of the people in the world are afraid of spiders. If we made any of the evil mobs look real, we'd get discriminated for it. We made it real, but it was only real in our minds. That is the point of a game, it may be false, but it is real to our minds as we take it in, and believe. ALSO, PLEASE THOUROUGHLY CHECK THROUGH THIS PACK-DO NOT JUST LOOK AT THE TERRAIN AND JUDGE A BOOK BY IT'S COVER. After all doing that is incredibly stupid.

No, just no. I define a texture pack by whether I would actually use it. This is inconsistent, sloppy, and it looks like you did it on old ms paint, (or you just plain did). Make something that someone would actually WANT to use as a regular minecraft texture pack before posting it. What I do is take a pack, use it, and look at all my creations to see how they look. Minecrafts default texture pack looks bad on my creations. This texture pack managed to make them look like something i came up with on the toilet. This is just... horrible.

Inconsistency is sometimes a good thing, after all, how would you like it if I got the cobblestone texture and copied it throughout the whole terrain.png? I know this isn't what you mean, but, you, or anyone else here, would know that it's not a default edit because none of you, cared to check the full pack.

Oh and if I'm consistent, in a tennis match for example, say, I'm hitting backhands and getting consecutive wins of the same backhand, eventually someone is going to counteract my backhands. In a match of tennis you have to change your patterns all the time. In my eyes I'm the crappiest artist there ever was, I can draw cars at 3/4 angles really well, but that's well, cars. I'm really happy that we got loads of "positive" comments from you bunch of nice chaps, and female...

Old MS paint? Mate, I don't know HOW many people I've told this but, IS THE GLASS TRANSPERANT? YES. HAVE THE TORCHES GOT WHITE SQUARES AROUND THEM? NO. DOES THE GRASS HAVE WHITE SPOTS? NO. Then hey! It's not made with MS Paint.

Look, I have seen alot in my twelve years and I think that, hey, if I did something to make everyone happy, you know what would've been done to make everyone happy?

If you want people to like you're texture pack and not judge it by it's cover, POST BETTER PICTURES.

To add to this argument, this looks bad. It's inconsistent and boring. And you clearly don't understand what a bucket fill is, so here is the definition:
A single color used on a block in place of noise.

Hey man/woman/company, here's what's wrong. Simple texture packs like these, are just plain wrong. I'm being honest here, I do enjoy simple texture packs if they are fit to a theme, or at least aren't bucket-filled. DO keep practicing texturing, but don't post work unless you know that the community will love it, and not flame it. If Minecraft updates, your pack isn't useless! All you have to do is copy your work over to the new blocks/items and that's it! So please do take your time making this texture pack into something worthwhile, rather than a quick paint.net job.

Don't ever be too shy with creating realistic textures, an example of a "realistic spider" can be Appleslinky's Isolation Texture Pack (I have a phobia of spiders, scream like a little lass when they enter my personal area).
