I've always loved this pack. Can't understand that Mojang themself can't make their original pack look this optimized!
I read the Basic Information and I know not to blame you if something does not work with optifine... but my problem is that as soon as I choose this pack and click done minecraft just shuts down without any warning or errors so I don't know what is causing it. And I'm only asking since this is the only pack out of 12 I have tried that it happens to. It does work when I start without optifine though.

I should have tested some things first, but it seems it happens only with Magic Launcher. I removed Optifine and everything else that's not in default minecraft but it only works when using the default launcher and not with magic launcher
This is incredible. It brings a ton of realism to the game. However, I would love to see mod support once most mods update to the latest version of minecraft.
EDIT: Just found out there are versions for 1.6. Would love to see some mod support!
For some reason, ever since the update from 1.5 to 1.6, the CTM effects of the mod, as well as the Better Glass effects, never seem to work for me. Using the Connected Textures resource pack works just fine, as their CTM folder's contents is set up VERY differently from yours... Is there any reason this might be happening? I miss that amazing colouring effect from looking through glass D:

Nevermind, somehow got it working by redownloading the pack. Wierd! My existing download must've been corrupted or something.
ive always looked for a texturepack like this but i just wish tat you did the same thing you did to the dimond you did to the gold because i think itll look amazing and i have yet to see it
Finally got around to updating to MC 1.7, but I've noticed that the Connected Textures bit for side-grass doesn't seem to work.. Originally it was just a bright green as if I were playing in Fast Graphics mode. After going in and copying the overlay textures over top of the basic ones the side-grass is now just a bland gray in colour. Redownloading the pack and deleting the colour mapping files doesn't fix it either, which is quite annoying. Everyone that I play with uses this pack as well and report the same problem.

I got it working by deleting the CTM files for grass sides and grass side overlays. Unfortunately this means there is no variation with how the sides of grass looks, but there is no longer any ugly green/gray striping going on in the world. Also, congratulations on your new posting with Seeds of Andromeda! I've tried the demo versions of the game, really looking forward to when it's completed.
Hey _zombiehunter, thanks for the pack. I really like it Particularly the sound effects you've slipped in there, that realistic thunder sound gave me quite a surprise on my 5.1 surround sound.
This is one of the few resource packs I'll be sticking with.
1) It's a crying face.
2) My signature says "Default edits make me cry"
3) It is a short way of saying that I dislike this pack.

Granite, andesite, and diorite will appear as stone if you have connected textures enabled (fast or fancy) due to a file name issue. In path "assets\minecraft\mcpatcher\ctm\stone" I renamed "block1.properties" to "stone.properties", then these 3 fancier stone blocks appeared as normal.
Unsure if we're allowed to do this, but here is a modified ZIP of the resource pack for 1.7 with this fix for 1.8. Completely unofficial.
Hopefull this doesn't count as a necro post, but is this resource pack still being worked on, or did _zombiehunter move over to SoA full-time? It was my favorite pack out there for a long time.
If this resource pack isn't being worked on anymore, could a moderator please close this thread?
EDIT: NEVERMIND. You're pack just gets stuck on "decompressing zip"

Other than that 3rd party update I did for 1.8 I doubt it.

For the 1.11 pack, can you fix the color inconsistencies between shulker boxes? (All shulker boxes except purple have a darker bottom)
