Oh, thanks for reminding me. I forgot to change the topic name to 1.4.6. I haven't actually got around to making all of the the new textures, but I've put the placeholders in so it is compatible.
Hey, Storm Core, I manually brightened the Stone Brick texture and, in my opinion, it looks much better.
Please consider lightening it up a bit.
Thanks for the feedback. I personally have grown to dislike the stone brick and was going to do something about it. It was one of the first textures I made, too. This is the sort of feedback I want, so thanks again,
Looking at the picture (you might have edited your post because I didn't see it before), I must say that it does look a bit better.
Would it be possible for you to upload the 2 edited textures, just so I can work out what's best? I won't actually use the texture, I'll just use it as a guide. Thanks!
I drew a sloppy box around the textures and raised the brightness (Using Gimp). I only did the bricks for the Stone Brick texture and not the mesh in between. Some edges are unlightened or cut into other textures, but since you're just using them as a guide, it should be fine.
This is everything I brightened:
Here are some more screen shots (They're from a server called "Chronicles of Haeriven"):

Wow, Nick, they're amazing - particularly in the last pic, as you can fully see the extent of the improved texture. I love it - thank you!
I always was a bit disappointed with the stone brick as was going to put together another one, but it seems I don't have to now. It's sometimes hard to find a balance with darkness and lightness, depending on the sort of screen you play on.
Anyway, I better get to fixing them - thanks again!
One request though, could you put the current version number in the "Download" area please? That would help a lot to know if there's a new version or not.

Oh yes, that's a great idea. Sorry that it never occurred to me before!
Hey stormcore, I was thinking, maybe you should put up older downloads for people who downgrade for other mods? It would help for some people, thanks
Yeah, that's a good idea too. I'd put it in a spoiler box so it doesn't clog up the main post.
Is there a particular version you'd like at the moment? I still have them all.

I'd very much like the final 1.4.5 version, if you don't mind. I am downgrading to play with my bro
Actually, the current version of the pack would probably still work. Give it a shot
Alright I will try it and see what happens. Thanks for the great problem/idea/suggestion/feedback responses, theres a lot of threads where they only reply to certain things and not problems or new ideas. Thanks StormCore!

- Totally re-worked the stone brick textures - they no longer look horrible!

Thanks a lot for your texture pack. I love it.

We're currently up to version 44

A quick question if that's not asking too much.
Do you plan on eventually support 128x128 texture for some mods? I'm particularly thinking of RedPower2.
That's fine - it's my pleasure
Yes, of course, although I'll be aiming to complete the base textures before I move on to anything else.
Fix it, I'm eager to try this beast of a pack!

From the big 'downloads' section in the original post. Here's the link, to save you the trouble: http://adf.ly/Gfs3O
You can download the current version, that should still work.
